For those who have been reaching out about career opportunities in water related sectors, here’s an interesting outlook.
"Water careers are stable, well-paid, high-quality, and inclusive career opportunities, and no one seems to know about them." Citing the "silver tsunami" and innovation in water reuse as some of the reasons for the growing need for talent in the water sector, CWEA (California Water Environment Association) makes a convincing pitch for careers in utilities. https://buff.ly/3RnmoE1 #watersustainability #waterfuture #waterjobs

I read an article recently which highlighted low carbon energy-related jobs are growing much faster than fossil fuels, growing from 4.7M to 35M between 2019-2022. It's all well and good having millions of clean energy/energy efficiency jobs. But we need a stronger vehicle to bring new people into our industry & support them in finding their 1st & 2nd jobs... otherwise, vacancies grow and we make minimal improvement in moving the needle for clean energy.. One of the many reasons I brought William Behn into LMC was to change this. We're developing an incredible recruitment platform designed to support the industry for good. We're in the building phase - but the feedback from my trip to the US has been very constructive. Watch this space... It's coming soon! Want to find out now? [email protected] / [email protected] P.S. Link to the article in the comments. #smartbuildings #energyefficiency
