Did you know that when screened through a Human Factors Lens most disasters, major events have had 5-7 precursors? That means factors such as sleep, illness/injury, executive pressure, unfamiliarity, incompetence, stress (personal and professional) etc can aggregate together and affect decision-making. Well-intentioned poor decisions lead to negative consequences. Nuclear disasters, oil rig explosions, plane crashes, train derailments...and yes firefighters dying in the line of duty (LODD) can result in response to Human Factors. Let's bring more awareness to the Human Factors concept and support safety (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) for all.

We put together this print-quality poster on the ABCs of fall protection. The ABCs apply when using a PFAS (Personal Fall Arrest System) and PFRS (Personal Fall Restraint System). With PFAS specifically, you'll need to expand the ABCs to ABCDs. The D stands for Decent and Rescue. Always have an emergency rescue plan in place for recovering fallen workers. You can download all of our free posters here: https://lnkd.in/e98J3TuT Visit our website's learn tab for more free information on fall safety and other topics. #ConstructionSafetyWeek #Construction #Safety
