Two reasons at least: 1) The roles don’t exist yet at the org to be filled (and that is a problem) 2) these functions have been integrated into everyone’s roles at the org and so we don’t see them as vacancies (and that is part of the solution) Nonprofits need to have the capacity to build and fill technology roles in-house, as well as to provide continuous learning and professional development to all staff members in using their data & tech.

As a job developer for a non-profit organization, we previously provided incentives to employers for hiring clients. However, these incentives have now been reduced due to lack of funding. Consequently, there has been a decline in employers’ interest in hiring the candidates we recommend, as the incentives are less compelling. This raises questions about how effectively we're supporting the community. Many of these clients possess strong educational backgrounds and valuable experience, yet they struggle to secure opportunities to enter the workforce. #community #londonontario #employment #workforce
