This Summer at ReadyAI, I worked with over 40 GenZ Interns worldwide. Here is what I've learned from them. 🌌 Diving deep into the #GenZ whirlpool, and I'm taking you along! 🛸 Picture this: A college grad stepping into our buzzing Pittsburgh East Liberty office. The wonder in their eyes speaks of both awe and a pang of IRL nostalgia. But then, amidst the hum, they wonder, "Was the 9-5 grind always this way?” 😲 Here's the #GenZTea ☕️: Suits? Lengthy board meetings? Out. Digital spaces, mental well-being, passion, and PURPOSE? In. By 2030, they'll be a THIRD of the workforce, reshaping how we work. There's talk about Gen Z wanting it easy. But remember: the pandemic was their initiation. They've adapted, evolved, and now, they're REIMAGINING work. One thing you can do to completely transform your team: Share your vision on a regular basis. 💥 I see this transformation every time we welcome new team members at Elevate Experiences. Even with our “seasonal” interns who may only be around for a couple of months. I ALWAYS carve out time on their first day to share our vision, mission, values, and expectations. The purpose of this is to truly invite these team members into the story of WHY we do what we do, and WHO we are set out to be. But in addition to this, you know what happens every single time? ⬇️ 👉I get fired up. 👉My full-time team gets fired up. And we leave the meeting ready to totally crush it. We leave reinvigorated. Sharing your vision on a regular basis will do AMAZING things for your team and ultimately, your business.

As we celebrate Women's History Month, we are excited to shine a spotlight on our staff members who raise the bar for us all. Round of applause for Zoë Stanley, our Partnership Development Manager! 👏   Q: Tell us a little bit about what you do at the Chargers.   A: I sit on the Partnership Development team. I manage the day-to-day relationships with 10 partners across various categories.   Q: Did you always have a desire to work in sports?   A: I did! I played competitive sports growing up and have two degrees in sport management. The sports industry that was appealing to me because of its innovation and advancement across several different aspects (i.e. technology, budding DEI, etc.).   Q: How’d you get your start?   A: I got my start in undergrad, doing several monumental internships during the summer between my sophomore & junior years of college. I interned at USA Water Polo & the Orange County Riptide in their respective marketing departments.   Q: What is the most rewarding part of your job and why?   A: The most rewarding part of my job is being able to help partners elevate their presence with Chargers fans & in turn, seeing fans so ecstatic to be a part of the Chargers family.   Q: Tell us about a woman that has inspired you and/or impacted your career today.   A: My mom! She's a force and inspires me every day to be independent, use my voice, work hard, but most importantly, be kind, and respectful to everyone I interact with.   Q: Real or fake, dead or alive, who is one woman would you want to have dinner with? Why?   A: Beyonce - she's the embodiment of a renaissance woman. She's a successful businesswoman, fashion designer, mother, wife, and entertainer.   Q: What advice do you have for those trying to get into sports/starting their career in the sports industry?   A: Starting your career is like stepping stones. There isn't a job too small for you to gain experience from when you're starting out. Trust yourself, your abilities, and the process, and you'll be just fine!   #workinsports #partnerships

Superstars, behind the scenes! The hidden gems in your team. 💎 In the race of getting RECOGNISED, There still exist employees, Who work away from the limelight, And are strong pillars of your team/organization. I won't identify them based on the roles they do. It's more about the personality than function. I had an intern in my team, And she ensured she get the work done. She'll ensure I never have to follow up on the task allotted. She'll ask 100s of Questions. She'll make silly mistakes. But she puts in 100% of her capability. And with an added will to learn and excel, She's easily an exceptional intern. For most of the time, she almost exists as non-existent, Working diligently to finish her tasks. So when we were deciding to offer her a full-time role, I wondered what would happen if she was not there at the job. And I realized a VACCUM. Contradicting the popular notion of building the rapport and creating noise, Some employees prefer diligently doing the work, in silence. As a leader, We must identify and acknowledge their contributions. Because, probably they'll never ask for it. ------------- Cheers to all such employees! Fast-forward, the intern is now at the helm, steering the ship with a vision of freedom and trust. This is not just a story; it's my journey at PHOENIX, a testament to what fostering leadership in the workplace can truly achieve. Leadership is not about wielding authority but empowering others to discover their strengths and soar.
