Thanks to Automotive News for covering a panel discussion on maximizing ancillary product results at the recent Auto Finance Summit East conference. The key takeaway? The conflicting processes of lenders, dealers and other players in the complex finance and insurance protection product market are creating significant challenges. Yet those challenges can be solved with greater collaboration. The article notes that Tom Keepers, MVPPA’s executive director and a panelist at the event, talked about how “the industry also needs to work together toward the goal of cutting the costs of compliance.” “Starting at least with lenders and providers, we want to bring them together to identify and start solving some of the shared issues," he said.
