TEQ 2020 which verdict is expected to be heard shortly from Delhi high court. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare though given orders to revert the 1998 TEQ with regards to Medical Msc/Medical MSc PhD teachers to NMC twice. And recently National MSc Medical Teachers association (NMMTA) had organised a protest against the NMC policies at Jantar Mantar on 21-08-2023.
Globally 60% -80% Faculties in these non-clinical departments are MSc PhD are serving the CBME very well. CBME is new to India but it’s a normal practice Globally. It seems the NMC wants Monopoly in the system which will fall the whole medical education system indeed failing the medical system. Medical system is a team work, where all the members like ANM, GNM, ASHAs, BHMS, BAMS, MBBS, MD, Medical MSc/Medical MSc PhD etc all work together hand in hand to strengthen the medical services and achieve the SDGs effectively, NMC monopoly and Biased regulation are rendering to create more of faculty shortage in medical education and also leaving several well qualified members to either brain drain or become a non-productive human resources. Being less in number our representations are usually disregarded by NMC.

Delighted to share the programme of this year's 11th Clinical Audit Forum at Sligo University Hospital. We are excited and looking forward to welcome our guest speaker Mr Pedro Delgado. Attendance in person only.
Yesterday during our team meeting, my clinical supervisor asked us to pick one things in the centre that best represent us now or in the past weeks. We are to explain what the items mean and why we chose that.
Followed by, my clinical supervisor asked us to combine what we had shared and the items we have to form a story.
I am amazed how each of our ups and downs, strength and struggles can form a story of encouragement and strength to each of us in the team!
Make a guess, what is the story we have created or what is your story when you see this ☺️
