Realtors(r) are engaged with the community and volunteer their time and money. After all, they live in the community in which they serve. That no doubt reflects and contributes to 90% satisfaction rating from recent home buyers and home sellers about their specific realtor(r) with whom they worked with. As in any industry there may be few bad apples looking to cut corners. Fortunately they are so many good ones that one can always ditch the bad ones and seek a better one. That’s why the real estate business is so much determined on referrals and repeat clients. Cheers to realtors(r) of their community involvement.
Despite competing with historically low sales and inventory and heightened mortgage rates in 2023, REALTORS® and associations continued to prioritize charitable activity. - Nearly seven out of 10 (69%) Realtor® members volunteered monthly, typically volunteering eight hours each month. - Ninety-eight percent of associations held a fundraiser last year for nonprofits or charitable causes, typically hosting four events annually. - The typical amount donated annually by broker-owners increased this year to $2,400 (compared to $2,300 in 2022). https://lnkd.in/egi2uGSt

We're proud to publish our first ever Saints Foundation impact report, delving into the level of support that we are providing for local people ❤️ The report finds that in the 2022/23 football season alone, 5,316 people engaged with one of our 15 charitable projects, which equates to more than 1 in 50 city residents. With around 16% of Southampton households having no money left after they pay essential bills, the need for support in deprived areas has never been greater, and that’s where we're targeting its support. Around one third of our participants live in one of the 20% most deprived areas of the country, the report reveals. 💬 Greg Baker, Saints Foundation CEO: “We’re proud to see here, in black and white, how thousands of people have made huge strides to improve their lives with our support. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing Saints Foundation staff for the life-changing work they deliver day-in, day-out in our communities.” 💬 Lucy Horne, Saints Foundation Head of Impact and Insight: “As much as I hope the report makes everyone feel proud of what our participants have achieved, I also hope people find it useful for appreciating how football can help drive positive change.” Read a detailed summary of our impact or download the report in full via our website: https://lnkd.in/eBufS4W9 #impact #evaluation #report #annualreport #charity #southampton

When you think of Habitat for Humanity, you probably think of new home construction in partnership with low-income families, but we do much more than that. Did you know that 20% of houses in Harris County have been deemed "inadequate housing" due to mold, plumbing issues, pests, etc.? That's why we have the Home Repair Program to help these families get the help they need to stay in their homes. It is much more affordable for our families to stay in their repaired homes than move to a new one. Make your tax-deductible donation for our Home Repair Program at bit.ly/habitatnwhcgiving today.

Today, HomeSpace is launching our second annual #AdoptADoor campaign-focused on raising funds that will help us welcome more families in need of safe and affordable homes. For many Calgarians, the holiday season is a time of joy, togetherness, and celebration. For others, its a time of stress, especially for those who are struggling to find affordable housing during the cold winter months. The rising cost of living means shelters are facing unprecedented demand, the need for more affordable housing continues to grow, and an increasing number of Calgarians are teetering on the edge of experiencing homelessness. The time to show up for our neighbours is now. This holiday season, consider giving the gift of Home through a donation to Adopt-a-Door with HomeSpace. Every donation made to Adopt-A-Door goes directly to purchasing, renovating, and securing accessible affordable housing units for families, seniors, youth, and individuals living in extreme housing need. By donating to Adopt-A-Door, you can make a tangible impact in the housing crisis by supporting HomeSpace's innovative housing solutions. Home is more than just a place. It’s a sanctuary, a foundation, and the heart of countless treasured memories. For many families we work with, home is a dream that feels just out of reach. Your support can turn those dreams into reality just in time for the holidays during our $10K in 10 days housing fund campaign. Did you know that a housing application fee, a back electric bill, or a hefty deposit can be the one thing standing in the way of housing a family? Hurdles that may seem minor can fundamentally change the lives of a family working to overcome homelessness. Our housing fund allows us to remove barriers to a family moving into a home. During our $10K in 10 Days challenge, you can help families celebrate the holidays in a home of their own. Today, through December 21, your gift to our housing fund will have double the impact. Express Employment International has pledged to match up to $10,000 for all donations made during this challenge. https://lnkd.in/gcFEFXWD
