We’re back, baby! Our Voyager 1 spacecraft is conducting normal science operations for the first time since November 2023. All four instruments – which study plasma waves, magnetic fields, and particles – are returning usable science data. https://lnkd.in/evezN3Tb

Legends never die 💥🫰
A remote troubleshooting on a device 24bi kilometers away without remote hands on. Congratulations to the entire Voyager team!
I worked on Voyager for the last two encounters and still remember that time with gratitude. An enormous achievement for those who conceived, built, launched, and nurtured the spacecraft through its first years as well as those who solved the later problems. Thanks!
Launched in 1977 to the outer space, outside of system solar, and still working well!!! I think nobody thought of planned obsolescence at that time! Congrats NASA folks, you are so amazing!
NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration Great to hear that the Voyager 1 spacecraft is back to normal operations. How will this impact future projects? Samir Dobric Thanks for the repost!
