Dencun is live on the Holešky testnet 📢 Want to know more about 🔽 Dencun (Cancun-Deneb) ☑ EIP4844 ☑ Proto-Danksharding ☑ Blockspace Vs Blobsapce ☑ Here’s a deep dive on ⬇ Primarily the focus of this upgrade is on increasing the efficiency of the L2s and reducing the gas fees (almost by 16x)! This is possible via the method of Proto-Danksharding which is one of the 9 EIPs proposed in this upgrade(EIP4844). Let’s first understand how L2s operate and how Dencun is changing the paradigm! 1️⃣ L2s are built specifically to reduce the transaction load on the L1s by separating the Consensus layer and the Execution layer. 2️⃣ This makes L1s more efficient as the L2s directly send the proofs of the transactions to the L1s for the record, performing the execution part separately(off-chain). 3️⃣ But this is also not the most efficient way for the L2s to function as they only need to store those proofs on the L1s for a few weeks until validators verify them. 4️⃣ And here comes the method of Proto-Danksharding which provides L2s with a transient data storage option called blobspace which allows L2s to store data for a shorter period (18 days) in blob formats that are temporary chunks of transaction data. 5️⃣ This will guarantee data availability and will also be much more affordable than Calldata. 6️⃣ Dencun signifies upgrades in both the Consensus Layer( Deneb) and the Execution Layer(Cancun). 7️⃣ The idea blobspace comes as a brainchild of Ethereum researcher Dankrad Feist’s concept of Danksharding. And protolambda, another Ethereum developer & researcher built on top of this idea a prototype system known as Proto-Danksharding which eventually came up as EIP4844. This is how EIP4844 is changing the paradigm solving for optimum scalability making it more attractive to builders to build on! That’s all on the Dencun update for now and stay tuned for the mainnet upgrade! Follow DApp World The most loved Blockchain Competitive Programming platform 💜

Exciting news: SWTCH Labs has successfully completed the Alpha phase of our protocol! We're now moving forward with smart contract audits to ensure security and reliability. We're thrilled to announce that several groups will be integrating with our technology in the coming months, demonstrating the growing interest in SWTCH Labs' solutions. What's Next: 1. Rust and TypeScript SDKs: Currently in development, entering QA next week. These will power our CLIs, Desktop app, and DApp. 2. SWTCH DApp: Based on our SDK, this will enable users and operators to build on SWTCH using Decentralized Identities (DIDs) to publish web services and build reputation on the network. 3. API Monetization: SWTCH empowers developers to monetize their APIs, opening new revenue streams. Interested in building with SWTCH? Check out our GitHub repository: https://lnkd.in/gEGKWR3h We're excited about the future of decentralized web services. Stay tuned for more updates!

"Fair Token Launch" I have been learning about tokenomics for some time. The "Fair Token Launch" by @aoTheComputer recently intrigued me and made me want to compare different Token Launch events. https://lnkd.in/gE9zwD4R Upon research, I concluded with the same critical points every protocol should consider before approaching Token Launch. I am still learning about tokenomics; if you find something wrong or misinterpreted, do let me know.

Exciting news! #QANplatform will launch QANbuild alongside the upcoming QAN TestNet. 👉 QANbuild is a no-code smart contract studio that lets you generate smart contracts interactively! Create your first smart contract without coding in minutes and deploy it to the QAN TestNet. QAN's mission is to empower everyone to build rapidly and securely on the blockchain. Developers can code smart contracts in any programming language on QANplatform, while non-developers can also participate and experiment without any coding skills. Soon, everyone will be able to generate their own smart contracts and deploy them to the quantum-resistant QAN TestNet.

Just wrapped up an incredible experience at #ethdenver2024! I want to start by saying how amazing it was that this entire journey—from the Build Camp to the events, and even the food most days—was completely free. I dove into the full-stack track at Camp Buidl, led by the Chainlink team, which offered a series of workshops and training sessions. Here’s a brief overview of the technologies we explored: - Hardhat & Foundry: Key tools for smart contract development and testing. - Wagmi & ScaffoldETH: Web3 integration and dApp scaffolding. - React & Next.js: For crafting responsive and interactive user interfaces. - Solidity & OpenZeppelin: The backbone of writing secure smart contracts. - The Graph: For efficient blockchain data querying. - Rainbow Wallet & MetaMask: Simplified wallet integration and transactions. - Remix: A go-to for quick smart contract prototyping. - Decentralized Oracle Solutions: Including CCIP, Functions, VRF, and Data Feeds for real-world data integration. The opportunity to meet and network with incredible people was a highlight of the event. A special shoutout to my first hackathon team—Juvenal Campos, Timothy Sukamtoh, Michael Schück, and James Shaw. Despite forming later in the week, our collaboration and the progress we made were outstanding. This experience not only boosted my confidence in the Web3 space but also fueled my passion for blockchain development. I’m grateful for ETH Denver's initiative and the Chainlink team's guidance throughout this adventure. The skills and insights I've acquired are invaluable, and I eagerly anticipate applying them in future projects and hackathons. See you next year, ETH Denver! Up next, Consensus in Austin.
