Researchers from the University of Belgrade have published findings on the antioxidant responses in maternal and fetal rat livers to selenium supplementation. They compared selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) with sodium selenite (NaSe), revealing significant insights into how these compounds affect liver health, including sex-specific responses in fetuses. 🔍 Visiopharm software was utilized for histological analysis, aiding in the visualization and quantification of liver tissue architecture in both maternal and fetal samples.
