Being able to celebrate 2 trophies in past 2 seasons - has been a very cathartic process. FA Cup Derby win against the best club team on earth - VARdrid a distant second - honestly if they played in the PREM they would be fighting for a top 6 spot - this aint La Liga baby! And here is the hard truth im preparing myself for - Its going to take another 2 seasons for us to compete for the top titles again - Prem & Champions. Its going to take time to clear the decks, examine the youth talent thoroughly and free the budget up to reinforce with absolute certainty - that will never allow what happened this season, on the injury front, to ever repeat. A MAN-U supporter from the mid 70's helps - patience is key. Hopefully the new partners/ownership have the love & appreciation for the club that will take a long term view on their investment. The whole region is going to be redeveloped including a new stadium - there will be sizeable ROI - but the blue-sky returns will always be sweeter and less chaotic with a team that is highly successful, playing exciting, free flowing football. My scouting (budget related) report is as follows KERKEZ CUNHA ONANA BRANTHWAITE ($?) All PREM proven. Keep all our fresh young talent 💯

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) awarded six top provincial learners in the Special Education Needs Category with bursaries to study at tertiary institutions. The bursaries were awarded during the National and Provincial announcement of the 2023 matric results by the Education Minister, Angie Motshekga in East London on 19 January 2024. The bursaries include tuition fees, accommodation, textbooks, stationery, medical expenses, and a student allowance for the successful duration of their courses. In addition, the Fund will sponsor the top three national learners with specialised laptops, cellphones, earphones, smart walking sticks, and sensors to address the learners’ special educational needs. The top achievers were selected as part of the RAF’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) bursary programme to bridge the learning gap between fully abled students and those living with disability. This is in line with the RAF’s commitment to integrate people with disabilities into society through educational and economic empowerment. Previously the RAF only sponsored top national matriculants with assistive devices. Financial assistance in the form of full tertiary bursaries is now an additional and crucial component of this support. Over the years, the RAF has highlighted its dedication to securing the futures of road crash victims, road users, and those who are differently abled.
