I just got back from a ski trip (actually we were snowboarding this time but you never say snowboarding trip…why though? Anyway-) and remembered I wanted to do a pet project for a while now about extreme travellers and what we can learn from them - both as fellow travellers and as services/products catering to them. (From planning and packing to on-site hacks and miscellaneous tips) I don’t mean “extreme” as in extreme sports, but just in the amount of travel they do per year. I have a few people I’ll start off interviewing, but if you or anyone you know travels 8 times a year (for pleasure or business), and would be open to a 70-90 minute interview, comment below or write me a message. I’ll also share my findings when done (and maybe some steps in between too). #travel #servicedesign #designthinking #petproject

Have you ever wanted to try something new but didn’t feel brave enough to leap? Well, professional skier Drew Peterson is here to remind us that stepping out of our comfort zones is where the magic happens. He decided to give snowboarding a try, and he was a natural. What can we learn from this? Having a positive outlook on trying new things and avoiding routine is something we can all focus on this upcoming year. #positivemindset #comfortzone #alwayslearning https://ow.ly/BLVK50QkCFS

December 30th, I am going snowboarding. Snowboarding is one of my passions. I feel so free doing it. But there are also some lessons to be learned from it. 🏂 If you are going snowboarding for the first time, you are going to fall a lot. Be ready to get your butt bruised. Your wrist hurt, and your ego taken down a notch. While doing tricks is super fun and impressive, you are never going to land them if you do not have the basics down. Each snowboarder should have great technique before they try tricks. When you got the techniques of your stances and turns down, you will have to learn the tricks by progressing slowly. First try a simple and easy trick, and work your way up. Slow and steady wins the race. A lot of the principles are the same for marketing, because like snowboarding it is a skill. When you are starting, you are going to fail sometimes. You should start with the basics, before trying to do something hard. Progress will be slow at first. While learning a new skill is something I encourage, some of you don't have to have the luxury of trying and failing over and over. Some of you need results fast. Ready to make some bold moves with your business? Whether you're taking it slow or ready for high-flying tricks, I'm here to help. Send me a message, and let's discuss how we can elevate your marketing game together. (Sorry for the blurry photo, but my camera man was moving as well)
