France are pioneers.... Not something you normally start a sentence with, however a new bill is being approved to curb the rampant pace of fast fashion. I'm no pioneer, yes I have purchased from H&M and other such establishments, but legislation has to start from the top for our habits to change. (I used to sit in the smoking section on the train to work and think that was normal!) Advertising revenue could well be banned as part of this new legislation. H&M are being scrutinised in this article, but there are many more organisations to whom our industry benefit from advertising revenue. France will carry a lot of sway in the EU, where does that leave the UK? What could this mean for other industries? https://lnkd.in/eDdwEcmz
France puts the breaks on fast-fashion companies like H&M and Shein with potential penalties
