Love sharing successes from within the team!! It is all about continuing to push and challenge yourself. Natalie Armes-Bonham you kept doing this through your apprenticeship and also keep doing this in your everyday work. And my favourite summary is about how you need to ‘do this for yourself’ which is definitely how you managed to get through 🎉🙌🏼 #apprenticeships #continualimprovement #staffdevelopment
For #ApprenticeWednesday I want to share Natalie Armes-Bonham's story; watch below to hear what she says about her Apprenticeship experience. Nat had started her Apprenticeship when I joined DMU, and was one of the first Apprentices that I started working with. I've always been so impressed by her positive outlook, hard-work and perseverance. I'm really proud of everything that she has achieved 🏆. Look forward to celebrate Nat's success on Friday during our internal Apprenticeship Celebration Event 🎉

Embracing the Digital Era: A Necessity for Modern Organizations General David H. Petraeus, US Army (Ret.), former Director of the CIA and commander of all forces in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, once stated, "If you get the big ideas right, the little ideas will follow." At Parachute Group our big idea is to reskill Veterans through tech-apprenticeship programs to create a technical workforce capable of closing the digital divide in 🇺🇸, and beyond 🌐 🪂 : The Digital Era, marked by pervasive technology integration, requires organizations to undergo digital transformation to remain competitive. This involves creating a digital strategy that aligns initiatives with business goals, sets clear objectives, and includes a data governance plan to manage data quality, privacy, and security. Setting and tracking Objectives and Key Results guides efforts and measures progress. Profit.co 🪂 Digital equity ensures fair access to digital resources for all, focusing on affordable devices and internet, digital literacy training, and inclusive policies. It aims to bridge the gap between different socioeconomic groups, fostering social and economic inclusion. ❄ Digital Inequity highlights disparities in access to digital technologies and skills, driven by socioeconomic status, geography, education, age, and disability. Addressing these barriers is crucial for ensuring full participation in the digital world and reducing inequalities. 🪂 Digital empowerment enables effective use of digital technologies to enhance lives. It involves providing access to digital tools, developing digital skills, and fostering an environment for innovation and problem-solving, leading to improved job prospects and quality of life. 📍 The Digital Divide is the gap between those with and without access to digital technologies and the internet, caused by economic, geographic, educational, and social barriers. This divide impacts access to essential services like education, healthcare, and employment, perpetuating inequalities. 📐 Established in 2019 in Denver, Colorado, Parachute Group is an IT Service Provider (MSP) helping businesses integrate emerging technologies like cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics, and digital transformation. Our mission is to drive innovation, foster growth, and pave the way for a brighter future through automation, analytics, and employee ownership. 📊 Guided by our core values—integrity, inclusivity, ethics, motivation, and candor—we deliver customized solutions that meet the unique needs of small and medium businesses. It’s national apprenticeship week! Apprenticeships are an amazing way to break into an industry and learn invaluable lessons. Often with apprenticeships, people only think about the more traditional courses such as engineering or tech, but this is changing. With more and more companies offering apprenticeship programmes, more and more people can find something suitable to them and their needs. It can be a great chance to experience a professional world and do something personalised to you. As a social media marketing apprentice, I can safely say that being in a professional working environment has been highly beneficial to me and learning aspects of digital marketing in my college course and then being able to implement it into the workplace is very rewarding.
“My apprenticeship has taught me invaluable on-the-job experience” This week is National Apprenticeship Week, and the theme is ‘skills for life’. We’re excited to go behind the scenes with apprentices working across costume, wigs, scenic art, technical theatre, IT, marketing and youth engagement. 🔗 Find out more about the apprenticeships scheme: https://bit.ly/3HGjghi

This is how we are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week! Come and see what we do here at Limelight Signs! #apprenticeships #apprentice #nationalapprenticeshipweek #signs #signmaking #signagesolutions #sign #development #learninganddevelopment #signagedesign #design
Happy National Apprenticeship Week! I am now 3 months into my Business Administration Apprenticeship here at Limelight signs, to say time flies would be an understatement! I have already gained so much knowledge and so many valuable skills within the workplace, about both administration and the sign industry, and I am still learning every day; who would have thought there is so much to learn about road traffic signs?! As a way to celebrate this week, we would like to invite Apprentices from our customer-base to come and visit us here at Limelight signs, to get an understanding of what we do here; and it would also be a great way to log some off the job hours! For more information about this, please get in contact with us, through phone (01706 873866) or by email: [email protected] 😊

Co-owner and Managing Director of Tigers Group - Tigers training, Lullaby Lane Nurseries, and Paradigm Landscapes.
If anyone would like to understand more about how we can support your organisation to connect with young people who are seeking apprenticeship opportunities, please contact my colleague Alison Nichol. The conversation below illustrates a recent experience for both the young person and the business 👇 #Employability #Apprenticeships #Relationships
Look at those smiling faces? 😀 That is the smiling face of a young person who has just been offered a roofing apprenticeship with Briggs Amasco Ltd, following a successful work placement. Thank you to Allan D. (also looking smiley) for reaching out to Tigers Group to discuss a new partnership that would create opportunities for young people in the industry. The team at Briggs Amasco Ltd have been an amazing support for Gareth and we can't wait to hear how he progresses through his apprenticeship. Huge well done to Gareth!
