I am so tired of people in my industry (Music) who claim to have authority, connections and specific skill sets to get the job done (signing artist to major label deals) for the artist we work with in development ; yet when it comes down to brass tax they flop bc they have NEVER actually closed a deal or signed an artist to any deal or major label whatsoever. What a total waste of time and energy it is to deal with people like this. I would have more respect and empathy for you if you just told me the truth from the start and we were able to put it all together working jointly opposed to the former. JUST BE HONEST ! I can take people very far in their careers and ambitions. I have proven this time and time again but starting a working relationship with a facade will never work out in your favor bc the truth will always come to light. People please be very careful with who you engage with on this platform. Do your research and ask the hard questions. If the person you are dealing with is sincere they will never have an issue with you doing your due diligence. LETS MAKE IT A GREAT WEEK ! #letsgo

🎸 Strings and Strategies: Blending Guitar Riffs with Sales Pitches 🎸 Greetings, LinkedIn friends! In this post, I'm sharing how my passion for playing the guitar aligns with my career in sales and my commitment to discipline. 1. Strumming and Selling: A Parallel Practice 🎶 Playing the guitar requires precision, much like crafting a successful sales pitch. Each requires an understanding of rhythm and the ability to deliver at the right moment. Just as playing a difficult piece on the guitar can be demanding, so can managing a complex sale. Persistence is key in both scenarios. 2. The Tempo of Sales: Finding the Rhythm 🎯 Timing in sales, as in music, is crucial. You must sense the moment to push forward and the time to step back. Adaptability is also essential, as each client interaction can vary dramatically—similar to how each performance may need a different approach. 3. The Role of Discipline: Maintaining Rhythm 🥁 Discipline is my guide, ensuring I stay focused, whether practicing a guitar riff or following up with a client. Staying disciplined can be tough with distractions like binge-worthy TV shows, but the satisfaction from mastering a song or sealing a deal makes it worthwhile. 4. Blending Melodies and Metrics 🎤 Integrating my hobby with my profession brings unique insights and enhances creativity. Sometimes, taking a moment to play a tune helps me think differently about a sales strategy, often leading to innovative solutions. Conclusion: The Melodic Path to Professional Growth 🌟 Success in both music and sales demands dedication, passion, and discipline. By merging my personal interests with my professional life, I find myself more engaged and inventive. I'm curious to hear from others—how do you incorporate your personal passions into your professional endeavors? Share your experiences below! #Sales #GuitarPlaying #ProfessionalGrowth #WorkLifeBalance #MeestInternational

Managing Consultant for Page Personnel in Permanent roles - specialising in forging synergistic relationships within Finance Markets in & close to Bristol | Musician🎸🥁 | Proudly Endorsed by Acoustik Attak 🤟
So I spoke with a candidate recently and they told me how their current role hadn’t panned out like they’d planned, they’d ‘picked’ (100% pun intended) the wrong one. We’re gearing up for a busy season as people start thinking about the ‘New Year, New Me/Job’ Just bear in mind as you scroll through these posts, you’re going to be faced with adverts that are all like the guitar picks below, they all pretty much look and do the same thing with their own small variations but it’s not until you get your hands on it so you know of it’s the perfect pick for you. My journey to find the perfect pick is arduous and I’m almost there, the big one with a 4 on it bottom row for bass (although the blue pointy one at the top has been a recent fave) and the green picks initially the Kirk hammer (Metallica) one on the left (yeah the grimy one from heavy use) and the small black ‘Max Grip’ have been my go-to’s until the sharp little green number in top right came along. A little bit like finding a new job, you’ve got to give new things a go. Which is to also say, maybe you’ve been ‘playing the pick that was almost right, until you found something better’ and that could be environment or a new technology or just that ‘X factor’ Maybe this all just a tenuous parallel whilst I sort out my picks…just take the time when it presents itself to get as familiar with whatever new opportunity you select. String instrument players what pick you selecting? For all those that play - have you found the perfect pick yet? Years of playing and I’m still to find mine. I’m close though… #jobs #recruitment #developer #guitarist #music
