In honor of Juneteenth, a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States, we hosted a celebratory event at our Support Center yesterday. The afternoon included: 🤗 Community and Connection: A break to connect and engage with colleagues 🎶 Juneteenth Playlist: A vibrant selection of music 🥪 Catered Lunch: A boxed lunch and refreshing smoothies from Tropical Smoothie Cafe, a Black woman-owned franchise in Frederick, MD. At the Guitar Center Company, we join in the celebration of freedom while acknowledging our Nation’s past, the impacts left by slavery, and the challenges that remain towards equality.  

In celebration of Pride Month, our Support Center in Frederick, Maryland hosted a Rainbow Waffle Bar!! 🌈 Accompanied by our groovy Pride Playlist, folks had an opportunity to express their creativity with our crafting color station. We are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where all our Associates and Customers feel safe being their complete and authentic selves.
