Today completes our third annual Week of Service! Our Richmond Team visited Feed More, an organization that collects, prepares, and distributes food to bring hunger relief to people in central Virginia. Our Team Members helped in the community kitchen by preparing and packaging meals. We are incredibly proud to announce that over 2,700 Volunteer Time Off hours were logged by Team Members throughout our Week of Service. Way to make a difference, Team Mungo! We want to give a big thank you to each of the organizations that allowed us to volunteer. It was a rewarding day four of our third annual Week of Service as team members from five markets set out to make a difference in their communities! Charleston: Team Charleston continued their work with Charleston Habitat for Humanity assisting with the construction of a new home for a member of the community! Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope and provide a hand up - not a handout - to their partner families. Columbia: Our Columbia team spent time with three deserving organizations today! Team Members continued their project with Home Works. Home Works is a nonprofit that provides home repair services to low-income homeowners while mentoring and discipling youth in the process. Team Members also returned to work with EmmanuWheel to complete a ramp build for a deserving individual. EmmanuWheel provides wheelchair ramps to mobility-impaired individuals who cannot afford the cost of the ramps. Additionally, the Columbia team delivered camper bags to Family Promise of the Midlands. Family Promise is a non-profit that provides support to families experiencing homelessness in their quest to achieve sustainable independence by providing them with temporary shelter and hospitality. Greenville: Our Greenville team returned to two organizations! Team Members spent time with Greenville County Animal Care walking dogs to help promote adoptions. Greenville County Animal Care is dedicated to promoting the compassionate treatment of animals in their community through adoption, education, and affordable spay/neuter and veterinary care. Team Greenville also spent the day at Shriners Children's hosting a Fun Day for patients where they got to participate in various activities. Shriners, which provides hope and healing to change the lives of both children and their families, is near and dear to our Greenville team. We value our time spent with Shriners and the impact it has on patients and their families! Myrtle Beach: Team Myrtle Beach was excited to continue projects with two organizations today! Team Members returned to BOC Church to continue repairs throughout the church. Team Members also returned to The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach to complete work on a shed that was started yesterday. The mission of the HSNMB is to find loving and permanent homes for abandoned animals, provide first rate vet care, offer low cost spay and neuter programs, and to reach out to the community through the education of pet responsibility. Raleigh: Our Raleigh team continued their week-long service project of renovating the girls’ cottage at Central Children's Home of North Carolina. The mission of CCHNC is to provide family-centered services to children and youth aged 8-21 who cannot remain at home due to various reasons, and aims to promote positive family functioning and independent living. #mungohomes #mungohomesfoundation #mungogives #weeksofservice #empoweringcommunity

Day Three of our third annual Week of Service was jam-packed with service projects across seven markets! -Charleston: The team kicked off a two-day project with Charleston Habitat for Humanity by putting down vinyl plank flooring and laying concrete blocks. Charleston Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. -Columbia: Our Columbia team spent the morning with EmmanuWheel, completing a ramp build for a deserving individual. EmmanuWheel is an organization that provides wheelchair ramps to individuals who have mobility issues and cannot afford the cost of the ramps. Additionally, the Columbia team worked with Family Promise of the Midlands to fill bags for children who are preparing to attend the program’s summer camp. FPM helps families experiencing homelessness in their quest to achieve sustainable independence. -Greenville: Members of our Greenville team spent time with The Dream Center, painting, organizing the pantry, and gardening. TDC is a non-profit that serves those in need by empowering them to grow towards becoming healthy and self-sufficient. The Greenville Team also spent the morning at Upstate Family Resource Center, creating gift bags for graduation day and helping put together a dinner for graduates. Upstate FRC works to achieve a healthier and more prosperous community by providing educational opportunities, engaging activities, and support services. Additionally, Team Members painted rocks to be displayed in the garden at Shriners Children's and served another meal at Daily Bread Ministries. -Myrtle Beach: Team Members proudly presented a check for $10,000 to Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center. VWHRC is on a mission to end veteran homelessness and assist local, honorably discharged veterans in various ways. Team Myrtle Beach also started a two-day project at Body of Christ Church, completing necessary updates like replacing damaged wood on the front of the building, fixing the door to the church, and painting. Team Members also returned to The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, where they continued to help fulfill various needs. -Raleigh: Team Raleigh continued renovating the girls' cottage at Central Children's Home of North Carolina. -Savannah: Our Savannah team returned to Heroes on Horseback to do general maintenance on the facility. Heroes on Horseback is an equine therapy and therapeutic riding program for individuals with special needs. -Triad: Team Triad spent time with A Bed and A Book. Their work included organizing bedding donations and inventory, doing quality control on beds that will be delivered to families, and pulling inventory for their delivery day on May 10th. A Bed and A Book, founded by Mungo’s very own Anneliese Wall, works to create safe and enriching environments where every child can dream. We are so proud of our Team Members for their hard work on these projects. We can't wait to see all that Day Four has in store!

Day Two of our third annual Week of Service is in the books! We are proud to announce that Team Members from five markets participated in service projects to positively impact their communities. Columbia: Our Columbia team spent time with two deserving organizations today! Team Members continued their work with Home Works of America by completing home repairs. Team Members also worked with Reconciliation Ministries to build a bus stop cover for kids in the community. After completing the project, they had a celebration when the students got off the bus! Reconciliation Ministries provides a platform that enables those suffering from addiction to experience life-changing freedom, hope, healing, and reconciliation to God, themselves, and others. Greenville: Our Greenville team continued their work with Lutheran Services Carolinas by loading, unloading, and delivering furniture that has been donated to families in need. Other Greenville Team Members cleaned up the garden at Shriners Children’s, a healthcare system that is near and dear to their team. Shriners Children’s provides hope and healing to change the lives of both children and families. They specialize in children’s orthopedics, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lips and palates. Greenville Team Members also spent time with Jump Start, serving lunch to our trade partners and other companies that may be interested in partnering with the organization. Jumpstart disciples to current and former prisoners and assists with re-entry to society. They work with community partners to address spiritual, educational, employment, healthcare, housing, and family relationship needs. Myrtle Beach: Our Myrtle Beach team split their time with two organizations that are important to them! Team Members were honored to present a check for $10,000 to North Strand Housing Shelter. North Strand Housing Shelter provides food, bath, and bed for those seeking their services and offers programs to give a holistic approach that will help meet spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. The team also visited The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, where they power washed, landscaped, and proudly presented a check for $2,500. The mission of The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach is to find loving and permanent homes for abandoned animals, provide first-rate vet care, offer low-cost spay and neuter programs, and reach out to the community through the education of pet responsibility. Raleigh: Team Raleigh continued their week-long project at Central Children’s Home of North Carolina, where they are renovating the girls’ cottage. Wilmington: Wilmington Team Members spent the day assisting with home repairs with WARM NC. WARM NC's mission is to repair, rebuild, and make homes accessible, as well as inspire service, generosity, and hope. Great job on Day Two, Mungo family! Today officially kicked off the Mungo Homes Foundation Third Annual Week of Service! During day one of our third annual Week of Service, FIVE markets set out to make a difference in their communities! Charlotte: Team Charlotte spent their very first day of Week of Service at Nourish Up! Nourish Up is working to end food insecurity in Mecklenburg County by providing choices in groceries and meals that are nourishing and delicious. Columbia: Our Columbia team spent the day with Home Works of America completing home repairs. Home Works is a nonprofit that provides home repair services to low-income homeowners while mentoring and discipling youth in the process. Greenville: Our Greenville team spent time with three deserving organizations today! Team Members spent time with Greer Soup Kitchen cooking, serving, organizing, and cleaning, and were proud to present a check for $2,000! The Daily Bread Ministries is a non-profit that provides meals to the hungry. Team Members also spent time with Greenville County Animal Care walking dogs to help promote adoptions. Greenville County Animal Care is dedicated to promoting the compassionate treatment of animals in their community through adoption, education, and affordable spay/neuter and veterinary care. Greenville Team Members were excited to spend the morning with Lutheran Services Carolinas loading and unloading furniture that has been donated, as well as delivering furniture to families in need. LSC provides services for seniors and families, including foster care, residential services for adults, disaster response, refugee settlement, and more. Raleigh: Our Raleigh team kicked off their week-long service project with Central Children's Home of North Carolina where they will be renovating the girls’ cottage. The mission of CCHNC is to provide family-centered services to children and youth aged 8-21 who cannot remain at home due to various reasons, and aims to promote positive family functioning and independent living. Triad: Team Triad spent the morning at Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Piedmont Triad preparing bagged lunches for families and House Volunteers. RMHPT is a “home away from home” for families with children receiving treatment in the community’s medical facilities that provides a place to rest, eat, and find support. And not to be forgotten, several Team Members from various markets spent time during our annual meeting stuffing care packages for the USO!
