Great information here from Robert Kidd with AMG Systems, where he’s talking about the AMG250 family of media converters that can match a huge range of solutions ranging from 1-4 port with non PoE, 30W PoE and 90W PoE options in small form format (and rack mount possibilities) - offering installers a lot of flexibility and a great #fibretoethernet converter.   Do you have customers upgrading from analog to IP CCTV or to more higher powered cameras such as outdoor PTZs with in-built lighting and heated housings … check out the AMG250 Lineup! My retrospective product-LinkedIn posts continue by looking at our ever flexible industrial grade media converter series the AMG250.   We decided to bring out this entire family of media converters that can match a huge range of solutions ranging from 1-4 port with non PoE, 30W PoE and 90W PoE options in small form format (and rack mount possibilities) - offering installers a lot of flexibility and a great #fibretoethernet converter.   The AMG250s are still finding appeal for companies upgrading from analogue to IP CCTV or to more higher powered cameras such as outdoor PTZs with in-built lighting and heated housings.   These sorts of cameras are often served by poles and masts which have fibre running into them. So, our AM250s are increasingly being installed close to those pole-mounted edge devices. #Councils and critical national infrastructure providers, even MOD sites, are doing a lot of these upgrades.    So, if you are moving up to higher-spec IP cameras which demand more power than previously, and you have access to a fibre optic link for the video, consider specifying AM250 series into your next install. You will be in good company.   Many of these power hungry PTZs can deliver this Power via Ethernet (#PoE). We’ve fully #tested our AMG250 Media Converter on a wide range of 90w surveillance cameras and it works perfectly on all of them! No loss of power or bandwidth is assured if you use the AMG250 to move video data from your Ethernet onto your fibre backbone. You can see some of the cameras we have tested here: https://lnkd.in/gSJVFzWK For more information on the AMG250 read on: https://lnkd.in/gNHxcg9w   So, for all Industrial Grade Ethernet to Fibre installs for #IPCCTV #IPvideo #CNI and other high value applications, please DM me, pick up the phone at 01767 600777, or email me on [email protected]
