“Embracing Freedom: A Call to End Marine Captivity 🌊🚫” 🌊 Embark on a Journey of Compassion: In our collective consciousness, we hold the power to transform the narrative for marine life. Let’s elevate our awareness to understand the profound impact of small, cramped tanks on the well-being of dolphins, whales, and cetaceans. As stewards of this planet, we’re entrusted with the responsibility to protect these majestic creatures and their ocean homes. It’s not just a call for change; it’s a plea to nurture a profound connection with marine life. By fostering awareness in the next generation, we can shape a future where empathy for our ocean companions prevails. As parents, educators, and advocates, let’s instill a love for the sea, teaching our children to respect and cherish the beauty of marine life in its natural habitat. Here’s how you can be part of this oceanic revolution: 1. 🛑 Boycott Marine Captivity: Choose responsible alternatives for entertainment, and avoid supporting facilities that confine marine life. 2. 🗣️ Spread the Word: Share this post and educate others about the impact of small tanks on marine well-being. Knowledge is power! 3. ✍️ Sign Petitions: Support campaigns and sign petitions advocating for the outlaw of marine captivity. Your signature matters. While our focus is on whales, dolphins, and cetaceans, let’s also extend our compassion to all marine life. Every action we take today creates a ripple effect for a future where oceans are teeming with life, and all creatures swim freely. Together, our shared commitment becomes a beacon of hope for a world where marine life thrives in the boundless embrace of the ocean. 🌊💙 #RaiseAwareness #FutureOceanGuardians #MarineLifeProtection #FreeTheOcean #BoycottCaptivity #OceanAdvocacy #marineconservation #BeyondTheTank #SaveMarineLife #FutureForCetaceans #DolphinsDeserveFreedom #WhalesWithoutWalls #OceansOfCompassion #MarineAwareness #AquaticFreedom #SeaChangeNow #ProtectOurSeas #MarineLifeRevolution

Comms Human | Producer and Videographer | Wildlife Filmmaker working towards a Nature Positive World
Kudos to Julie Davis for launching the Guernsey Barn Owl Project 🦉 "The 2019 habitat survey reported an alarming loss of grassland. Rough grassland is the Barn Owl’s preferred hunting habitat. If this is lost through changing land use, our Barn Owls cannot thrive. At present we do not know what is happening to the island’s Barn Owl population. This survey, together with ringing data, is establishing baseline data about the number of breeding pairs and chicks." https://lnkd.in/eUV5tk3q
In Guernsey our Barn Owls are busy - it won't be long before they're even busier. They have chosen a wonderful tree with lots of nearby branches which will help the youngsters when they fledge. What a privilege to be part of the Barn Owl Survey. Dave Carré has been busy filming this pairs. If you'd like to support this important work, join La Société Guernesiaise and help us to help nature. https://lnkd.in/exEvVYUv

There are many short coming in the cannabis industry compared to traditional food manufacturing. While it’s been great to see cannabis companies adopt GMP policies, I wonder how effective these measures actually are. Is anyone monitoring GMP compliance in cannabis production? Does being GMP certified in the cannabis space actually mean anything? Trulieve says they are “cGMP certified”. However Kim Rivers can be seen improperly wearing a hairnet throughout this video. It’s hard to trust that Trulieve is producing a clean product when the company chooses to showcase a video of their CEO wearing a hairnet ineffectivly while in a production area. Any thoughts on GMP compliance in the cannabis space?
We are grateful for CEO Kim Rivers’ inspiring visit to our Camp Verde grow in Arizona 💚🌿 Together, we're cultivating greatness. #TrulieveGrows

What insights can Buddhism offer in the wake of our current environmental crisis? At Georgetown, theology courses are a part of our core curriculum. I’ve chosen to apply what I’ve learned about Buddhism to conservation by examining how Buddhist ethics on animal rights could be applied to biodiversity conservation in the Amazon. My article, "Examining Modern Wildlife and Environmental Destruction Through the Lens of Buddhism", can be found in Georgetown’s journal Utraque Unum:
