As #PrideMonth comes to an end, we are reflecting on the events our Cooper PRIDE Employee Resource Team hosted this month that created space to honor, recognize and celebrate the LGBTQ community. From an amazing panel featuring members of Mr. Cooper’s LGBTQ community, their allies and Leslie M., Transgender Education and Advocacy Associate from the Resource Center to an amazing volunteer event at the Resource Center, Cooper PRIDE facilitated meaningful discussions on the importance of unity and allyship within the LGBTQ community and how we can make a difference. While #PrideMonth may be ending, the impact of these events will continue on in the months to come and continue making space for our LGBTQ community to bring their full, authentic selves to work. #WeAreMrCooper #CooperPride #PrideMonth

Does #PrideMonth help raise enough awareness about LBGTQ issues? 69% of the readers of our publisher Yahoo said ‘No’ and we also agree that waving the rainbow flag just for one month a year is definitely not enough. Is it important to dedicate an entire month to the achievements and challenges of the LGBTQ community? Yes. Is it equally important to address these things the rest of the year? Also yes. LGBTQ issues go beyond Pride Month. Because as we see in the results of the surveys, the rights and freedoms of LGBTQ people are still not a given and in many people’s opinion are once again under threat. It is therefore important to show awareness and support beyond Pride Month. Because in reality, every month is Pride Month.

Everyone is welcome 🌈💙. Our #Diversity, #Equity & #Inclusion (DEI) Policy underlines that sexual orientation shall not impact anyone's role at Greiner and commits us to address inequalities faced by the LGBTQ community. We are aware that there is a lot do to and the LGBTQ community still faces numerous challenges around the world. Many countries do not have comprehensive#antidiscrimination laws that protect the community. Global companies can play a role in combating this discrimination. 👉 Discover why Pride Month matters to us at Greiner: https://lnkd.in/eUaBUnpp
