The same word can convey additional meaning based on their emotions. Social media has recently been used in research to anticipate problems in the real world. Researchers are investigating how social media might be used to examine person-to-person communication regarding health and healthcare as society gets more networked. As we end 2023 and recognise that the fast pace development of AI in health service delivery will just get faster in 2024, it is good to be reminded that it is a whole of industry development and transition that needs to occur in lock step. We must make sure health practitioners understand what they are doing and consumers understand what they are choosing to do in this space.
