How can public policy learn from theorists who have been engaging with this kind of thinking? I'm really sorry I missed this mornings presentation, but I am looking forward to sessions they may have in the future. #feministpolicy #feministfutures #feministleadership

Grateful to Moss Adams for investing in its Latinx professionals and sending over 40 of us to attend the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) Convention, where we attended many workshops, heard inspiring stories, and met other amazing Latino/a professionals and students. I have never felt more inspired and energized to lead with my authentic "Latinidad!" A couple of key takeaways from the conference: * We are resilient! Your past experiences are your superpower! They provide you with a unique perspective and set of skills. Use those experiences as a motivation to change your narrative. * Instead of seeing yourself as "the only", see yourself as "the first". For example, "I am the first (FILL IN THE BLANK) in my office", instead of "I am the only (FILL IN THE BLANK)" in my office." This changes the perspective to a more optimistic one. Then, be a role model and pave the way for others through mentorship. #ALPFAConvention #LatinxLeadership #MossAdams

Creating organisations that embrace human centred leadership, culture & performance. Chief People Mechanic & Professional Speaker @ The Think Farm
Dr Donna Stemmer the Founder of WorkRight 2023 has ground breaking insight and actions around the identification of bullying behaviours in organisational structures. Her programmes have uncovered systemic and devastating behaviours that have both massive mental health and productivity/revenue impact on the New Zealand workforce. Her story and research is both inspirational and tragic. The numbers she has uncovered are a blight on the workplace landscape and a direct inditement on leadership competency and capacity. NZ continues to be highly under invested in leadership development and we are seeing the results of that shortfall and short sightedness. Leadership directly impacts, productivity, engagement, retention, revenue, innovation and culture. Why wouldn't we invest??? There is no sugar coating this.
