Helping founders navigate uncertainty — Co-Founder Solopreneur Steps & Uplift Founders | Supported 150 founders & solopreneurs
Who's my desired target group? When I decided to tread a new path, I had this question in mind. The answer was clear: Visionaries 👩🚀 → My mission is to empower them. This month, I've made two trips to the notary for fresh ventures. That feeling of watching ideas bloom into tangible ventures. → Priceless. One of these is Partners in Clime 🌱 Being a part of this collective is more than just a privilege - it's seeing firsthand the positive change we can make for founders and our planet. The other venture? It's another building block for my mission. → More to share on this soon! #partnerinclime #visionaries

On March 13th, SeaAhead’s CEO Alissa Peterson travelled to Lisbon, Portugal to speak on an investor panel at Economist Impact's World Ocean Summit. The panel discussion centered around the theme “Investing in Nature,” and Peterson was joined by fellow investors Julie Pullen of Propeller, Jahed Momand of Cerulean Ventures, Tyler Gwinn of Trousdale Ventures, Peter Rive of SolarCity, Ross Brooks of Katapult, and Torsten Thiele of Global Ocean Trust. The investors were asked to weigh in on what constitutes the ‘secret sauce’ of a great project concept, how startups can attract early-stage investment and keep investors hooked, and how to reduce the risks that ocean innovation brings as a rite of passage. Alissa reflected on how wonderful it was to attend an event dedicated to a wide cross-section of stakeholders focused on ocean solutions. Six years ago, when SeaAhead was founded, none of the investors present would have been up there talking about bluetech. The stacked stage, as shown below, speaks to the good progress made in the industry. #bluetech #worldoceansummit #blueeconomy

We recently gathered at the DeepTech Alliance Clean Energy Summit in Barcelona to discuss how radical innovations can drive the future of clean energy. Enrico Deluchi, Chairman of DeepTech Alliance, reflected on the forming of the Alliance and the importance of international collaboration in transforming global challenges into growth opportunities. 🔹 The Vision: Radical innovations and international collaboration is badly needed to tackle global challenges such as carbon emissions reduction and supply chain transformations. For this reason DTU Science Park and The Danish Industry Foundation initiated DeepTech Alliance in 2018 to join forces with other startup ecosystem hubs across Europe to connect the most promising European Deep Tech startups with business partners needed to get their solutions to market and scale internationally 🔹 Achievements: Since 2021, we have assessed over 6,500 ventures, conducted six Business Creation Programs, and identified 220 business opportunities. Our efforts have enabled successful collaborations like TechEnergy Ventures' investment in Luminescent and Bosch's partnership with IPercept. 🔹 The Challenge: Despite Europe's world-class scientific research, much of our intellectual property remains commercially inactive. By fostering cross-border collaborations, we aim to bring Europe to the forefront of global innovation. 🔹 Looking Forward: With 10 member countries and a goal to reach 20 by 2026, the DeepTech Alliance is growing. We are excited to welcome Beta-i • collaborative innovation from Portugal as our 11th member and look forward to upcoming events in Munich, Oslo, and Paris. Enrico’s closing thoughts resonate deeply: "Transforming problems into opportunities requires more collaboration, innovation, and goodwill. By joining forces, we can unleash the full potential of European science-based innovation for global impact." Thanks to The Collider and Mobile World Capital Barcelona for hosting a great event for the alliance. Let's continue to drive innovation and collaboration for a sustainable and just future. 🚀💡 #DeepTechAlliance #CleanEnergy #Innovation #Collaboration #EuropeanInnovation #Sustainability #Startups #TechSummit #Barcelona2024 Industriens Fond Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/deSA-kKb
