🍵 RSVP to the Chicago Brickyard’s second annual Juneteenth Tea Party! Last year’s attendees spoke highly about how the event was both informative and fun. Juneteenth marks a momentous chapter in American history. This commemorative event is intentionally crafted with a variety of activities to deepen our understanding of its historical significance. We’ll also provide a space to engage in thoughtful conversations about freedom and invite you to explore the rich history of tea, which draws connections between its cultural significance and the resilience of a community that has triumphed over adversity. Join Brickyard Leaders Sidney Covington, LMSW, and Dan Biga in celebrating the spirit of Juneteenth as we sip tea, share stories, and foster a sense of unity. Together, let us honor the struggles and triumphs that have shaped our collective journey toward freedom. Do your special skills scare people 👻 Just because your unique skills make people nervous does not mean your abilities are SCARY 🎃 It just means it is not THEIR wheelhouse. It’s my job as the Marketing Director to help my teammates feel prepared and capable for marketing days. Everyone wants to help meet the needs of the children and young adults in our programs. Marketing is a tool to get us there! I like to sending the team samples of what we’re going to work on when we are scheduled to meet. I also do my best to write out scripts and choose sounds that I know they will get on board with! We all have qualities that are valuable. We really are better together. How do you collaborate with team members to make your workplace more fun and comfortable for all?
**Secure Your Spot**: Time's ticking! Get your tickets for our Nov 9th event at the Lone Oak Barn in Round Rock. Don't miss out on this amazing night! You can buy your tickets here or by following the link in our bio. https://lnkd.in/grpqbD7Y
