The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2024, Now More Than Ever, is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will, and must, continue. BCLS aims to challenge the systemic injustices that cause harm and to listen to and learn from our Aboriginal communities, with full acknowledgement that we have a lot to learn and we will not always get it right. We confirm our commitment to our vision for a just society where all people have equal access to, and status under the law and a legal system that is humane, fair and equitable. #NRW2024 #NationalReconciliationWeek #accesstojustice

Join us in commemorating #ReconciliationWeek 2024 #NRW2024, a time to reflect, understand, and unite as Australians. The theme for this year, 'Now More Than Ever', reminds us that in moments of division, disengagement is not an option. We must continue the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Now more than ever, we need to tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation. Let's build on past efforts and create a legacy for the future. Together, we can achieve better outcomes for First Nations people. In truth-telling, understanding our history, education, and addressing institutionalised inequity, the work continues. We need connection, respect, hope, and change. Now more than ever, let's stand together for reconciliation. #SouthernQueenslandRuralHealth #Unity #Healing #Reconciliation #NationalReconciliationWeek
