Last year, Amazon Prime Day sales totaled 12.7 billion dollars in the United States. Magnificent! Sellers would have been thrilled with the sales they made on prime day. To be honest, we're holding on to our nerves for the big day, anticipating a significant jump from the previous year's sales figure, with projections reaching $15 billion for this year. Back-to-back meetings, inventory management strategies, prep services, resources, and whatnot! We're making sure everything is set right. To initiate a lightning-fast shipment, we stayed connected with our partner to reimburse the stock level for fulfillment. As the prime day is a few days away, we 3PLs are starting to feel the heat. So based on very early data from Numerator, this week's Prime Big Deal Days from Amazon saw an increase in order volumes & average order value vs 2022. HOWEVER, Prime Day this past July seems to have outperformed this week's event. In addition, six in 10 Prime Big Deal Days items sold for under $20. Is this a sign that maybe, just maybe, we're getting a few too many deal days? What used to be about big purchases like TV's & computers has now become about batteries & protein shakes. SHOPPERS ARE WAITING TO BUY BASIC ITEMS TO GET BETTER DEALS. This is a pretty big fundamental shift. Are we reaching an oversaturation of deal days? On a side note, I'm generally a fan of the simplified naming convention approach... but "Prime Big Deal Days" is a terrible name - especially when the mid summer event is Prime Day.

Fall Prime Day in October Amazon hosted a two-day Prime sale this past July, It was a hit! 🤑 The first day, July 11, Broke all of their previous sales records. 😱 But the excitement doesn't end there. Amazon just spilled the beans on another Prime event in October, Set to break records once again on October 10/11.  Woahh!!! ⚡ You can considering this factor, the inventory date has already passed. However, you have the option to create a coupon or a Prime discount, and apply a Prime Day tag. By adding a basic Prime discount, the Prime Day tag will also appear.
