Used casks Ambassadors for the finest Chateaux and Estates. Premium Casks supplier to the Whisky Industry.
Using a barrel made from juniper wood for the finish of a single malt whisky will impart unique flavors and aromas to the whisky. Juniper wood will add a distinctive herbal and woody character, along with hints of spice and earthiness. This will complement the natural flavors of the whisky, enhancing its complexity and depth. However, since juniper is a potent flavor, the maturation process will need to be carefully monitored to ensure the whisky doesn't become overwhelmed by the juniper notes. Overall, it will result in a distinctive and intriguing whisky profile. Gin makers will also benefit using this very rare wood. Art and cask, have a nice selection of rare Juniper barrels masterpieces, yes we can call these masterpieces as few coopers have our knowledge to make such rarities. Sizes vary depending on the tree. but as a guideline 100 yo 140 litres is about the norm. www.artandcask.com www.artandcask.fr

Founder & CEO, Grant Sidney, Inc. (owner, Uncle Nearest) | Endeavor Board Member | YPO Member | New York Times Bestselling Author | USA Today Bestselling Author | TED Speaker | Doting Wife of Keith Weaver (Since 2003)
BREAKING NEWS: Speaking exclusively to The Spirits Business, Weaver said: “For as long as America has been in the spirits industry, it has predominantly been controlled by a single race and gender. “Over 90% of sales volume is attributed to six spirits conglomerates (and Tito’s), all established, owned and led by white men – despite America being a diverse nation, with 70% of its population comprising women and people of colour, a number that continues to rise. “Back in 2020, when I first shared in the press that we were building the first spirits conglomerate to be built by a woman or person of colour, it may have gone unnoticed by many. But this is the culmination of that vision. “Uncle Nearest has always served as the solid foundation, and premium whiskey was our initial stepping stone. We will persist in crafting Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey with the same unwavering passion and sense of purpose as we always have. But our ultimate destiny was always centred around expanding upon this very foundation.” Weaver claims that 97% of Cognac is sold outside of France, despite the fact that it can only be made in its namesake region. “Out of this, over 52% makes its way to America, and approximately 20% to China,” she continued. In the US, she noted that more than 80% of Cognac consumption is attributed to three groups: Black Americans (54%), Hispanics (19%) and Asians (10%). “Yet, the incredible story of how and why Cognac gained such popularity in America and China, especially among minorities, remains largely untold,” Weaver added. “Much like the story of Nearest Green and Jack Daniel, I assembled an exceptional research team to uncover the intricate path of Cognac exports and the reasons behind its popularity among minorities, with over 75% of global consumption. It’s an untold narrative, and I am privileged to have the opportunity to share it with the world,” Weaver continued. “If there exists a narrative of love, honour, respect and heritage within a spirit, rest assured that I will unearth it, making it a foundational pillar as we strive to create the first-ever spirit conglomerate led by a woman or person of colour.”

Exploring the Craftsmanship of Bonded Whiskey: A Symphony of Time and Tradition In the realm of distilled spirits, there exists a category that stands as a testament to time-honored traditions and unparalleled craftsmanship: bonded whiskey. This exceptional elixir, exemplified by expressions like Jack Daniel's Bonded, is a meticulous blend of heritage and artistry. At its core, bonded whiskey is a commitment to excellence. Crafted under stringent regulations, it embodies the epitome of quality and consistency. Distilled at a single American distillery within a specific season, this whiskey embarks on a transformative journey within the hallowed walls of federally bonded warehouses. Here, it patiently matures, absorbing the essence of oak barrels and the passage of time. The hallmark of bonded whiskey lies in its character. Bottled at a robust 100 proof (50% ABV), it carries a robust and complex flavor profile, a harmonious balance between the depth of age and the vibrancy of youth. Each sip tells a story—a narrative woven with notes of caramel, spice, and oak, dancing together in perfect synchrony. Beyond its exquisite taste, bonded whiskey signifies a deep-rooted connection to history. It mirrors the dedication of master distillers and the legacy of distilleries that have stood the test of time. The amber liquid in each bottle is a tribute to the art of distillation, a homage to the pioneers who meticulously paved the way for this liquid gold to grace our glasses. As you indulge in a glass of bonded whiskey, you are not just savoring a spirit; you are partaking in a legacy. It’s a celebration of craftsmanship, an ode to tradition, and a reminder that some things in life, much like fine whiskey, only get better with time. The rare whisky economy is a niche market driven by the scarcity and high demand for limited-edition, vintage, and highly sought-after whiskies. These whiskies often fetch high prices at auctions and private sales, with some bottles selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Factors such as age, provenance, brand prestige, and luxurious packaging contribute to their value. Increasingly viewed as alternative investments, rare whiskies face challenges like authentication and market volatility, requiring careful management and expert knowledge. #Liquidgold #Whisky
