A heartfelt thank you to our Brazilian hosts for facilitating such a successful and productive event in Foz do Iguaçu. #MIinFoz We had an amazing three days with our members and partners at #MI9. This meeting demonstrated the power of international collaboration and highlighted the critical role of innovation in ensuring the energy transition benefits everyone. This week's Ministerial culminated in the endorsement of a joint Ministerial Statement by both Mission Innovation and Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) members. Together, CEM and MI ministers committed to accelerating clean, sustainable, just, affordable, and inclusive energy transitions.     🚨Collaboration Alert! At today’s Minister-CEO Roundtable on Power Sector Decarbonization, the GPFM - The Green Powered Future Mission, the International Smart Grid Action Network (ISGAN) and 21st Century Power Partnership (21CPP) launched the CEM-MI Agenda for Action on Power System Solutions. 🔋This agenda, endorsed by Clean Energy Ministerial and Mission Innovation members, highlights the crucial role of power systems in enabling the clean energy transition. It identifies key actions for integrating renewable energy, modernizing grids, and ensuring stability and reliability as we strive toward the power goals of doubling energy efficiency and tripling renewable energy capacity by 2030. 🤝 Together, CEM and MI members are uniting to address the challenges of decarbonizing the power sector, reaffirming their commitment to COP28, G7, and G20 objectives.
