Earlier this year, we started planting hundreds of mature trees at Welborne, which are now in bud. Check out this time lapse drone video of the site which shows their development over the last few months. We will be planting many more trees and hedgerows in the coming months and years, in line with our biodiversity strategy. More than 50% of Welborne will be accessible green space, increasing to over 75% when gardens are taken into account. Extensive natural green spaces and a large central park will be complemented by public ‘pocket parks’ and greenways interlinking residential areas, as well as community orchards and allotments.
