The IAB Tech Lab has launched an initiative to develop new technical standards for TV advertising by bringing together the world's leading industry players to do just that Early members of the Advanced TV Commit Group include Nielsen, GroupM, Extreme Reach, Paramount, EW Scripps, NBCUniversal, VAB, Warner Bros Discovery, Xperi, and Publica The Advanced TV initiative was launched in response to the rapid change in video content consumption across platforms and aims to achieve the following goals across all TV environments:  - Interoperability for frame-accurate ad display and ad unit management to provide common cross-platform control of ad units and ad positions  - Universal audience measurement across all screens - Full cross-audit on past ad campaigns - TV measurement: control of actual ad message output and control of ad message visibility by the client - Multi-channel sales management, algorithmic buying, and selling of ads The first results are expected by the end of 2023 and will lay a solid foundation for achieving the above goals. https://lnkd.in/e2r7stgf
