The way we live is going to change significantly over the next few years. Did you know that there is a proposal that new homes constructed from 2025 onwards will not be able to connect to gas network? No, nor did I. The rate of change that has seemed speedy in the recent past is only going to ramp up. Housing will change faster than most because of its impact on net zero targets, even the watered down ones. My question is - did none of the overpaid sacred brain trust experts responsible for this boondoggle pipeline project have the business smarts to make a better budget estimate when they started the project (more than 6 times over budget from 4.9B to over 30B?!) And did not one of them ever consider - “hey, we might need more money because we want to drive this pipeline through land which was first taken away, then given back and isn't ours and some people are a bit sensitive about that"? And now these numskulls believe they have a right to use it anyhow even though it’s not theirs but because they have money (Canadian public, like yours and my money, actually) they are using it to bribe - many who have very little - to rip it to pieces, yes that land that was given back, and put in a pipeline, which in all likelihood (based on all global statistics) will leak one day, into whatever natural and sacred environment is left behind…so either they are super, super smart - and knew it would cost more than 6 times their estimate and just decided to pull the wool over Canadian’s eyes (who will pay for this but not actually ever benefit from it as any profits will not be returned to us and the oil is being shipped to China and elsewhere) and are laughing all the way to the bank or they are all just not that clever. In either case - they should be fired.

Our efforts within the Perth industrial market have not only been fulfilling but have also prepared the 'groundwork' for an exciting 2024 ahead. In 2023, the demand for vacant industrial land, particularly in the 2,000m² to 10,000m² range, played a pivotal role in driving up values. The 'Core' precinct, in particular, witnessed a notable 0.5% increase in values over the September quarter, reaching an impressive average of $545/m². Looking at the bigger picture, 'Core' precinct land values have surged by 9.0% in annual terms, reflecting the robust growth and positive momentum in the market.
