CEO @ Cheers | $50m revenue, #1 on Amazon, 10k retail locations, & 100% YoY Growth! 🥂🍾

Cheers is growing 100% YoY. What is one of the secrets to our success...? Putting anyone at the manager-level or above into mastermind groups rather than reserving that right for just the founder/CEO. Typically, masterminds are reserved for founders/owners/CEOs/etc. Why? Because they cost a lot—usually $5k-10k/year minimum per seat. (Sometimes much more.) If you don't know what a mastermind is, it's a group of executives that form a group to help each other around a common industry or industry-activity. For example: -Amazon -Facebook/Instagram ads -brick & mortar sales in HBC -supply chain in CPG -etc. And, of course, the people in these groups are generally the owner or highest executives of an organization. I.e., the founder, the CMO, the COO, VP of Sales, etc. Oftentimes, because many of these groups cater to owners, many of these conversations are very owner specific, and that worries some leaders. I've heard some founders say: "I want to be in ____ group, but I don't want anyone on my team to be in this group because then they'll know _____ information and I don't want them to know that." I think that's absolutely wrong. 1) If you trust your team and 2) you have designed a role/compensation/etc. that they can thrive with, then you have nothing to worry about. It's a major value add for them to be a part of this group for both them and the company. A founder/CEO shouldn't be the only well-networked person in a company. At Cheers, we strive to put everyone in the best mastermind we can for their role. So far, here is what masterminds we are a part of: -Million Dollar Sellers for Amazon -Foxwell Digital by Andrew Foxwell for Facebook/Instagram advertising -Dan Mack for brick & mortar HBC sales Over the years I hope that Cheers becomes part of MORE masterminds. These $3-10k memberships that we pay for our team are some of the best investments that we've ever made. If you're not giving your team the opportunity to be in masterminds, then I highly suggest you start! (Here is a picture of me this morning holding a birthday gift from Ian Sells and his team at Million Dollar Sellers!)
