🔬 Discovering the Pros and Cons of Urine Testing: Our Expert Opinion 🔬 When it comes to urine testing, there are certainly advantages worth considering. With our extended panel of substances, we can detect a wide range of drugs, enabling a comprehensive assessment of an individual's substance use. Additionally, urine testing offers an extended window of detection, allowing for a longer time frame of substance detection compared to other methods. However, it's important to address the drawbacks as well. Urine testing requires additional facilities to collect and analyse samples, which may pose logistical challenges for some organisations. Furthermore, it should be noted that urine testing is a more invasive method, as it requires the collection of a urine sample. We understand the sensitivity and privacy concerns this may raise for individuals. Lastly, while we have implemented stringent protocols to minimise the risk, there is a slight possibility of adulteration in urine samples. This is something we continuously monitor and take necessary precautions to address, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our testing process. #DrugTesting #UrineTesting #Screen4ExpertOpinion #GoldStandard

Like many substances, urine is made up of different components. If you (or an employee) undergo a drug test, being able to understand what makes up your urine — and in what quantities — is important in order to obtain accurate test results. This is where urine-specific gravity comes into play. Read our blog for more! ⬇️

There exists a substantial likelihood of intractable hepatic impairment upon administration of fluoroquinolone pharmacotherapeutics, necessitating the precautionary employment of BSO prior to commencing therapy. Azithromycin and amiodarone are two commonly prescribed medications that can have serious interactions when taken together. Azithromycin is an antibiotic that is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, while amiodarone is a medication used to treat irregular heart rhythms. When these two medications are taken together, it can lead to a potentially dangerous condition known as QT prolongation, which can cause serious heart rhythm abnormalities. Thank you Naseer Ud din for taking the time to write this informative article. It's important for patients and healthcare providers to be aware of potential drug-drug interactions, and this article does a great job of explaining the risks and symptoms of the interaction between azithromycin and amiodarone. I'm grateful for the the efforts in spreading awareness on this topic. #healthandwellness #healthcare #drugdruginteraction #healthylifestyle #pharmacy #linkedincommunity #linkedingrowth #linkedinfamily #fyp
