Our National Building Group faced challenges head-on at Project Channel in #Florida. 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬: Our team managed complex site work, including 550K cubic yards of import, wetland mitigation with closed basins, over one mile of new county roads and power lines, planting 600 new trees, and more. 𝐃𝐨𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬: Weathering two hurricanes and a tropical storm, fluid collaboration with our client and trade partners enabled us to press forward with construction despite slowdowns. 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬: Overcoming Florida’s concrete and aggregate scarcity, creative strategic planning secured a weekly supply of 1,500 cubic yards, allowing us to place over 70,000 cubic yards on schedule. While building in Florida can present distinct hurdles, keeping the pace on an accelerated schedule—no matter the location—is our norm. We had the steel erected on this facility in just 12 weeks and completed the entire project in 12 months.

Over LDW I spent some time working on a backyard project which required me to level and grade half of my yard. Anyone with a yard in Charlotte knows we have this "wonderful" red clay soil that is MISERABLE to work with, and trying to work using my normal rake just flat out SUCKED. So I googled "How to make leveling clay soil suck less" and it recommend a specific grading rake that cost just $30 and made this project 100x less frustrating. It made me think about the work a lot of sales and marketing people do, and how at the end of the day most of our customers just want something to overcome their daily frustrations. Tangible product benefits like ROI, labor savings, revenue projections, etc are all great, but all the research shows that people make sales decisions based on emotional reactions, not logical ones. So my question is: How do you market to and attract new customers based on their EMOTIONAL state, rather than using the logical benefits we normally provide? What is the professional phrasing for "how do I make your task suck less", and what keywords do people use to capture those potential customers?

Been with them for 3 years.” “Nice. So due to the construction, some of your neighbors like Mark and Beth, are seeing scorpions and spiders inside and outside their homes. Does your service with Weedman include scorpion and spider treatment?” “Hmm, I'm not sure.” You're asking a question that exposes a knowledge gap. Why does this matter? Your solution has no value without a problem. Buyers have the answers. Sellers have the questions.
