Great read as we head towards Father's Day weekend by our Chief Innovation Officer, Rey Peralta. Here's an interesting quote from his article: "We generate massive amounts of digital data daily, often used by businesses for insights. But how can my son benefit from his digital footprint? Beyond mere data collection, consider capturing photos and videos of milestones, tracking educational progress, or monitoring screen time. Instead of letting this data serve businesses, we can envision AI as a personal digital agent for our children, enriching their lives with tailored insights."

3 days ago, Forbes released an article with the following title: “End-Of-Life: The One Decision AI Cannot Predict.” Now here are some things to consider. AI has no sentience. Which means emotional and vulnerable algorithms don’t exist. Hence why End Of Life decisions are not defined within the AI scope. Now here’s my question: If you had to, how would you break down an emotion such as “jealousy” to an algorithm, what would be your variables?

Helping Experts Simplify Complex Ideas with Memorable Visuals || Visual creator sharing all I learn through my visuals and newsletter.
Think for yourself, don't let AI do all the thinking. Your thoughts are valuable. While AI can help, it's essential to trust your own judgment and ideas. Take the lead in your thinking, and use AI as a tool, not a replacement. I learned this from Nickolas Carlos Grothe. The best idea generator is YOU. You have a unique perspective. Your experience, skills, knowledge, values, and journey is irreplaceable. Original Thinking -> Original Ideas Original Ideas -> Unique Path Unique Path -> Personal Success Personal Success -> Fulfilment Fulfilment -> Meaningful Impact ______________________________________________________ If you like more learning tips, share it with a friend :) ♻ Repost

We are asking lots of questions about AI, but are they the right ones? I'm watching the latest series of #TrueDetective. (It's gripping!) Jodie Foster plays cantankerous Detective, Liz Danvers (gruff exterior conceals good heart etc, she does it brilliantly). Detective Danvers (relentlessly) pesters her team to 'Ask the question,’ which they find super-annoying. It's because she knows questions uncover truths. If they are the right ones, that is. But the right ones aren't easy to come by. Badgering her team like this is basically a crowd-sourcing strategy to get to the questions she hopes will lead to a clue instead of up another garden path. (Annoying her team is a side benefit.) Are we asking the right questions about AI’s impact on the world? What are we not asking or not asking enough? I’d love to hear from the #AI True Detectives on here what questions you think we should be asking. Be as serious or silly as you like! Any answers or follow-ups to the questions posed below also welcomed! #questionsaretheanswer

There are intricacies of humanity which #ai can never replicate. The beauty of imperfection and the co-existence of juxtaposing human emotion is something a machine will NEVER be able to recreate, and that is what makes us special. If you disagree, try sticking your wife's expected responses into a data model and train an algorithm to can predict what she wants for dinner. You will understand what I mean quite quickly 😎😎 #machinelearning #largelanguagemodels #neuralnetworks #deeplearning

Okay, we will continue to talk about the topic "What can AI do". Enjoy~☺️ Read your mind This is truly mind-boggling—AI that can read your mind! It can interpret brain signals and then create speech. Impressive and life-changing for those with speech impairment, but a little bit unnerving when you consider the mind-reading aspect of the skill. It's no surprise that some of the biggest tech giants, including Facebook and Elon Musk have their own projects underway to capitalize on AI's mind-reading potential. That is all from today discussion. More and more interesting topics will be discussed in the future.
