Sales Leader @ WFX PLM - helping 100's of 🧵 Fashion Brands 🚀 | RevOps & GTM Specialist 🔥 | Fractional Sales Representative |

Well said 🦄 Matt Farina 🦄 - you are wise beyond your years!! It's really all about how you handle the "hard" things. These days I truly enjoy doing hard things, like having difficult conversations because I know how to approach them from a measured place, without ego or emotion and without attachment to outcomes. With this mindset, even the hardest things (like prospecting, working 80 hours weeks, getting rejected, etc.) can become easy to handle. Proud of you buddy!

Building @ Unicrn l Sales RevOps as a Service

I've been eating lunch every Sunday with my buddy Colin. He recently started in a new sales role at Dell. So naturally we talk about how our work weeks went. Since building a business like Unicrn 🦄 is a beat down. And Colin is one of the kindest people I've ever met. He usually tells me the same thing before or after our meet up: "Hope this week was easier than last week for you" His comment always makes me laugh. Don't get me wrong. Encouragement and empathy is greatly appreciated. Especially for the season I'm in. But I've been trying to help him understand that things never get easier. They only get harder. Which is pretty much how life works in general. As you get older, you take on: - More work - More responsibility - More pressure It's not about things getting easier. It's about handling hard better. That's my focus as a builder, seller, and human. To believe otherwise is foolish. And an easy way to get jaded, lazy, or both. Kind of a weird message to evangelize during a holiday week. But an important one nonetheless. For those of you that are still grinding away this week... ...any big wins to share?? Drop what's been going well with your work in the comments below 👇
