🎉 Exciting News! 🚀 I'm thrilled to announce the publication of my research paper, a significant milestone that marks the continuation of my final year major project. This journey wouldn't have been possible without the guidance of Professors Dr Neelu Nagpal and Ravi Sharma from Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology, Delhi. 🔋 The paper, titled "Design and Development of a Solar-Based Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging System(https://lnkd.in/eZ-x2R-R)," explores the rapidly evolving landscape of electric vehicles (EVs) and the innovative shift towards wireless power transmission (WPT) technology. This technology has shown remarkable progress, enabling efficient power transmission over varying distances with high load efficiencies. 🌞 Our work proposes a groundbreaking design for a solar-based wireless EV battery charger, which allows for the seamless charging of vehicles through inductive coupling - simply by parking at a charging station. This study delves into the practicality of WPT for EV batteries, focusing on crucial factors like charging time, range, and cost. 💡 What I Learned: 1. The feasibility of implementing WPT in real-world scenarios. 2. The intricacies of designing a solar-based charging system. 3. Evaluating system performance through black box and unit testing. 4. Comparative analysis of wireless versus wired charging efficiencies. 🤝 A special shoutout to my incredible team: Samyak Jain, Harsh Kaushik, and Sanjay Kumar. Your contributions were vital in bringing this vision to life. 📚 This research is more than just an academic accomplishment; it's a step towards a more sustainable and technologically advanced future for automobile infrastructure. #ResearchPublication #ElectricVehicles #WirelessCharging #Innovation #Teamwork #MaharajaAgrasenInstituteOfTechnology #SustainableFuture

Interview with Henk Jan Bergveld of NXP Semiconductors, partner of the Green Transport Delta-Electrification project. Henk Jan Bergveld is working for NXP Semiconductors at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven and is a professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), one day a week. For both organizations, his focus is on battery management systems. NXP and TU/e are both participating in the Green Transport Delta-Electrification project. "We are working together with other partners to develop a future-proof battery management system. Every battery contains such a system. It maximizes the performance of the battery and ensures optimal safety. We are working with parties such as TNO, DAF Trucks NV, VDL Groep, Cleantron cleantech batteries, ELEO, LionVolt B.V., and IM Efficiency, covering a large part of the value chain. From battery cells and battery packs to the vehicles and vessels that contain these battery packs. Chips are an important component throughout this chain. We want to include all partners in the decisions needed to design future battery packs. For one thing, this is necessary because we will be faced with new European laws and regulations that stipulate that every battery pack with a capacity larger than 2kWh should have a battery passport. In practice, this includes almost all electric vehicles. By working together as part of the project, we make sure the entire Dutch battery chain will comply with these new regulations when they come into effect."
