How to find the perfect employee: my journey
How many people do you have to go through to find the right one?
In September, at OKAD Agency, we had over 20 projects, a significant increase from our usual maximum of 10 projects. This growth necessitated an urgent expansion, primarily in the area of designers.
➡️I started by posting ads on Instagram and designer groups. There were a lot of people who wanted to join us. I got over 400 replies for a graphic designer alone!
➡️ The hiring team filtered out the top 50, then our lead designer reviewed the portfolios, selected 3 and gave out test ones.
➡️ In some cases we asked clients for feedback. Often we don't choose based on skills, but on style.
From 400 applicants we found several new graphic designers. Careful selection and a step-by-step approach helps us build a great creative team.
We're creating innovative solutions, receiving referrals, expanding, and actively searching for new talent to be prepared for any client challenge.
