On September 14, 2023, the China-Germany Technology Innovation Exchange, co-hosted by The Drivery Shanghai and KrSpace, successfully concluded at Shanghai. Over 50 representatives from Chinese and German technology companies and investment institutions participated in this event, with 15 startups showcasing their projects through pitch sessions. The exchange fostered deep discussions on technological innovation between Chinese and German enterprises. This event aimed to leverage The Drivery's innovative experiences in the automotive sector to provide a platform for high-quality early-stage tech startups from China and Germany. Through direct presentations and precise networking, it facilitated efficient connections between innovation-driven enterprises, paving the way for more international collaborations. Technology thrives on continuous innovation and support. The success of the China-Germany Technology Innovation Exchange not only provided a platform for outstanding startups from both countries to showcase their technological innovations, share experiences, and explore opportunities but also built a bridge between tech companies and venture capitalists. Huawei took part in the 15th annual Global Peter Drucker Forum, ended on Dec 1, where the company held for the first time a side workshop for European startups. The training bootcamp came as part of Huawei's pledge to nurture 10,000 startups globally by 2025, and 1000 startups in Europe by 2027. The Global Peter Drucker Forum is an international conference honoring the management philosophy of the late business guru Peter Drucker who was born in Viennain 1909. Every year, it brings together global business leaders and scholars to discuss best management practices. This year, the theme was "Creative Resilience – Leading in an age of discontinuity." Speaking at the main event, Radoslaw Kedzia, Senior Vice President of Huawei European Region, said: "I believe that technology innovation such as Huawei Cloud AI Pangu model, and management evolution that will adapt to ever changing environment and partnership building, including with SMEs, are key steps to find resilience and bounce back from chaos." Unlocking the Vast Business Potential in the Japanese Market: Two Japanese startups to compete in Startup World Cup 2023 final Aillis and Homma Group won preliminary rounds in Tokyo and Kyoto respectively, capturing the attention of the judges in a pitch competition against rivals in each city to win the ticket to the San Francisco final in December. Topping nine other rivals, Aillis secured victory on Friday by presenting its medical device called Nodoca, which uses an AI-camera to collect pictures of the throat and develop an image database to help diagnose disease.
