🚨PSA for NCOs !🚨 If your a US Army SERGEANT FIRST CLASS (E-7) who got promoted under the temporary promotion policy in the last year-ish, I didnt have to meet your step reqs & have NOT completed SRR, YOUR AT RISK OF DEMOTION!!! There are 500 of you going to get reverted back to Staff Sergeant (E-6) very soon under HRC. If I, The Armor MAJOR of Fort Moore, is posting this, this is SERIOUS! 🔔 ‼️ Check out this video & spread the word! #repost!
Maybe they don’t want to reenlist? Retention NCOs used to reach out to this population in their window for reenlistmemt. Throwing this out on TikTok or any social media doesn’t quite write an NCOER bullet does it SGM?
Thanks for looking out for other colleagues in the Non-commissioned Officers corps, the backbone of the United States Army and other military branches
I completed SLC in 2016 and was already finished with SSD-4. Fully qualified, non-select and retired as a 22yr SSG Greatest waste of talent management I ever was incorporated with.
I completed all the SSDs on deployment in 2012 as a SPC. This was when every online SSD was open to everyone. It was either that or watch every episode of *MASH* and all the James Bond movies in order. Oh wait…Did that while completing online SSDs. Promote ahead of peers, something, something, send to Soldier of the Month Board immediately. Could we just make it a promotion board? What do you mean your taking away promotion points for SSD and the accompanying NCOES? And deployment points? Thanks. Appreciate the thoughts. Yeah! I got my NCOES points back. How’s the MOS points? 798 forever. COVID broke the Army forever.

This highlights the significant impact of the waiting period and other factors on the likelihood of veterans benefiting from their owed capital in a timely manner. To improve these odds, it is crucial to reduce the waiting period and address factors affecting the fairness index. " #75yearoldbenchmark #FOXNEWS #CNNNEWS #MicrosoftPhunn
How demoralizing to have a promotion such as this rescinded.

I think that the individual you're referring to is the Deputy Surgeon General in what appears to be a flag officer’s Navy uniform.
Retired disabled veteran. Volunteer work in community. Raising funds for St. Jude's (Children)and Carry the Load (Vets)
4wI retired in 2017. Conditional promotions were a problem back then. Peeling back the reasons & I did for every senior NCO in our organization, here’s what I found: -NCOs didn’t attend course for a multitude of reasons, (family, sick, injury, weight control, APFT failure, failed prerequisites, etc.) -HRC didn’t manage/schedule conditionally promoted NCOs for priority attendance. -Individual commands didn’t enforce NCOES attendance or correspondence phases prior to physically attendance. -HRC & TRADOC simply did not coordinate/plan for increased courses/seating for those conditionally promoted. Establishing and enforcing timelines and placing “senior NCOs” on notice (via counseling, 4187 requesting short notice attendance, timeline for completion of any correspondence phase) & to be physically ready for attendance at the resident phase in the next 60 days. At the end of the second year, all of our senior NCOs had been to and completed the required level of NCOES for their rank. It was a laborious & frustrating process but well worth the promotions our NCOs kept & their increased readiness, future success/promotions to SFC, MSG/1SG and beyond. Hopefully, that command emphasis/push set the tone for their future development.
