I am constantly suprised at how much impact different tools have in different projects. If you see your new team is not adapting to the processes or if you see that there is some sort of workflow weirdness, consider a new platform could help reset the dynamics.I finished the course “Learning Confluence Administration” by Rachel Wright a while ago. Check it out if you're interested: https://lnkd.in/e6DzMRPc #systemadministration #confluence.

So fun fact. Confluence backs up EVERYTHING. And by default it backs it up to the same disk volume that warehouses the native Confluence dataset. We have a 30G collection of documents at work, the backups, 230G. I was wondering how a few screen captures and some text could possibly fill a quater terabyte. I'm still befuddled that the little documentation we do have managed to gobble up 30G but at least now I'm not trying to migrate my confluence-data/ directory to a new volume. Silly question, but in what world is backing up data to the same drive the data lives on a backup at all? Ok, it's version control I suppose, but Confluence is already maintaining a journal, so what's the point of this backup? Entertainment for a Friday afternoon? If I had time I'd build a wiki and throw Confluence out.

👥 Connecting people with products, introducing people who need to do stuff to people who can help, and caring for this community of people. ❤️ I care deeply about the things people care deeply about.
A lot of people have asked for it, and back in the day K15t would actually add it to Atlassian Confluence server as a customization. Well, the folders in Confluence beta is here to bring a bit more organization to your content tree! #atlassiancreator #atlassian #confluence

🙋♀️Did you know that there is a FREE "get started with Confluence" course in March? Well, there sure! 🤠 I know that when I started Confluence, I had quite a few questions. One of them was about templates and how they worked. I couldn't find out where they "lived" and who could make them. Another area where I lacked clarity was with macros. There are so many macros and they can be SO helpful. I bet Robert Hean will go over these things, and much more, in his live training next month. Sign up today and block March 14th on your calendar!
