🌟 Reflecting on an Enlightening Session at Rochdale’s Volunteer Leadership Institute 🌟 This past event was nothing short of transformative. A heartfelt thank you to Suzanne Weinstein for sharing her invaluable insights on the implications of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) actions for financial institutions. Your expertise illuminated the complexities and future direction of the CFPB in a way that was both accessible and profound. With 490 attendees and representation from over 100 credit unions, the significance of this conversation cannot be overstated. Each participant walked away with a much clearer perspective on the regulatory landscape and the strategic pathways available for navigating it. The collaboration and knowledge exchange at Rochdale’s Volunteer Leadership Institute was a testament to the strength and dedication of our community. But what impressed me most? 4.5 hours of testimony defending her team that worked 24-7 to accomplish something never done before. HHS Assistant Secretary for Administration Cheryl R Campbell flew to Atlanta to support new Head Start directors, elevating the conversation around effective leadership; expressing gratitude for their commitment and care to our precious children who are the future, a future that because of Head Start and each Director, looks bright.
