Interesting article that provides the basic outline of the planning and entitlement process for a proposed RV resort proposing minimum 1 - maximum 6 month occupancy. Kudos to this developer for thinking about mature trees as a benefit and identifying why the resort won't have significant impacts. Creating spaces to thoughtfully accommodate people living on the move makes economic sense while creating much needed housing and sanitation facilities to market on a faster timeline. A lot of people don't want to live in one place.

According to a report by Yardi Matrix, apartment conversions will produce 122,000 or more units in the United States in the coming years. This surging trend in the residential sector largely stems from office-to-residential conversions, with 45,000 units on the way across the U.S. Another 10,222 conversions were completed in 2022 as a result of a 43% increase in hotel retrofits.
