👋 The latest testing results are in and MNPS has not only met but exceeded its participation rate goals across all subjects and grades, and every grade level has shown improvements in all subjects on TCAP achievement tests, with gains ranging from 0.2% to over 5%. This reflects the relentless dedication of our students, teachers, and staff towards educational excellence. “We have been on a journey to reach our North Star of being the premier large school district in Tennessee and beyond – and these test results show we are on track to meet and exceed those expectations!” said Dr. Adrienne Battle, Director of Metro Schools. “Seeing growth in every tested category, across every grade level, all while outpacing the state, is unprecedented for MNPS, and it is a testament to the dedication and commitment our teachers and staff have shown to support the academic growth of our students." Our district is really proud of the University MNPS initiative, a collaboration with Nashville colleges and universities to secure scholarships and opportunities for Metro Schools graduating seniors. It was really wonderful Saturday to celebrate with Metro Schools seniors who received full-tuition scholarships to Tennessee State University, Lipscomb University, Fisk University, Belmont University and Nashville State Community College. (Vanderbilt University's program for MNPS students begins in the fall of 2025) It also is always extra special to be with proud and excited families! Congratulations!
