In this captivating interview, Carolyn shares some incredible stories about what it was like to be a young woman in the 70s, how she helped get Jubilee off the ground, and the vision she and the other founding members had for the community and Jubilee Housing. Celebrate Women in History in March Time to honor, learn from and be inspired from the heroes from the past. March is Women's History Month, a time to celebrate the remarkable achievements and contributions of women throughout history. This month also recognizes those who identify as non-binary, LGBTQIA2 , and people who identify as women, as well as women who are neurodiverse and disabled and who have made a significant impact on history. To honor Women's History Month, here are a few tips: -Educate yourself: Learn about influential women in history and their remarkable accomplishments. -Support women-owned businesses: Show your support by shopping at women-owned stores or utilizing services provided by female entrepreneurs. -Amplify women's voices: Share stories, achievements, and experiences of women from diverse backgrounds on social media to uplift and empower. -Volunteer: Volunteer and/donate to organizations supporting women's rights and empowerment. -Host discussions or events: Organize gatherings to discuss issues affecting women and brainstorm ways to create positive change. Let's make this month a celebration of progress, empowerment, and solidarity! #WomensHistoryMonth #CelebrateWomen

Listen up, everyone! This Wednesday, April 17th, we're celebrating the power of women. As Guest Permelia Parham reminds us, we are mighty human beings who often don't realize just how much we do. We raise families, work, and look after our homes. And sometimes, we're also in that sandwich generation, looking after our parents and children. Let's take a moment to recognize and celebrate all that we accomplish as women. #WomenPower #MightyWomen #CelebratingWomen #LifeMaven #lifemavenpodcast

his was shared in our Circle community a few days ago, and since we are transitioning into 2024 this is speaking volumes. Envision yourself next year: Swapping stories with women who have shared similar #struggles in the business world, having dinner with someone who has a past similar to yours, or meeting up with your crisis crew because you don't have to go through things alone anymore. You're part of a community of women who are there to help, encourage, uplift, and support you. Let us be that #community. #businesssuccess #BusinessGrowth #personalgrowth #personaldevelopment
