The average drive-thru wait time is 255 seconds, down from 323 seconds in 2020. Efficiency is key. Drive-thrus are a $230 billion industry in the U.S. alone. We asked Dave, the Managing Director of PALpack, for some insights into how business is going within the automation industry and within PALpack specifically plus what the future holds. "It’s been an exciting few years for PALpack, we have grown year on year and we are now highly regarded as the UK’s leading experts in end-of-line automation and palletising. The future is looking good, especially with the introduction of our range of bagging machines. Europack, our main supplier of palletisers, are associated with both Technipes and VAI, so we now offer semi-automatic, up-to-high-speed bagging systems. "We have seen industry change so much since Brexit and the pandemic. And there seems to be a real focus on industrial automation. However, the UK is still way behind the rest of the world when it comes to investing in automation and robotics. The line features 8m long conveyor with area for both manual and automated product loading. Specific pacers on the conveyors, fully interfaced with the tray sealing machine, will stop and release trays after automated loading of the product 👉🏻 excellent for high productivity, up to 3,360 trays/hour in MAP mode. It's an honor for us to collaborate with a valuable customer like Morganti. We are extremely pleased that so many shareholders attended our 55th Annual General Assembly at the Stadthalle Bülach today. The Vetropack Group faced challenges in the 2023 fiscal year on account of the volatile and tense market environment.
