1.What is NB-IoT used for? NB-IoT is a data transmission standard designed to enable devices to operate in mobile carrier networks. 2.Is NB-IoT the same as LTE? NB-IoT (also called Cat-M2) has a goal similar to that of Cat-M. 3.What is the difference between M1 and NB-IoT? LTE Cat M1 uses 1.4 MHz bandwidth in contrast to narrowband competitor NB-IoT using 200 kHz. 4.What is the difference between LoRaWAN and NB-IoT? NB-IoT is usually lower than LoRaWAN.Find IoT solutions at and-global https://lnkd.in/gaNq3QBZ

RedCap has crystallized as the fourth major 5G use case drawing the other three together into a comprehensive wireless package capable of serving most conceivable mobile applications both outdoors and indoors. As such it overlaps and competes with a plethora of other wireless protocols oriented initially towards the IoT, such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), the IEEE’s UWB, Thread, the Matter standards supported by the Connectivity Standard Alliance, and the principal four LPWAN protocols. The latter are the non-cellular LoRaWAN and Sigfox, as well as the two cellular variants NM-IoT and LTE-M. WiFi has also been widely used for IoT applications that require greater bandwidth but that have some tolerance for delay, not demanding the highest levels of consistency or coverage. I may make an impression of a completely ignorant, but I still ask. Could anyone please point me to the system architecture description for Skylo partner projects we hear about growingly often? I mean, which exactly devices connect (including on the ground and in space), what do the channels look like concerning speed and throughput, and what are the roles of Skylo Technologies, ground telecoms, and satellite partners? The press releases look great in listing popular architectures and initiatives but add little to understanding what architecture is under discussion. Is it just me, or is there a need for more transparent clarification?..
Exciting news! We're thrilled to announce that together with Deutsche Telekom IoT we have bridged the gap between terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks with our groundbreaking worldwide NB-IoT roaming integration. If you have IoT connected routers, gateways and modems deployed, being able to monitor the device data such as location, temperature, signal strength and data usage can be a real benefit. DevicePro enables users to monitor and manage devices including configuration changes and firmware updates all through one platform. This removes the need to toggle between different systems from different vendors relating to eSIM management and device management which removes administrative overhead and cost. We explain the benefits and considerations for using DevicePro here. #devicepro #esim #devicemanagement #cellularconnectivity https://okt.to/vo24Xp
