Cannabev Fanatic | Business Development Manager for Co-Packing @ Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. | Manufacturing & GTM for Beverages
Before I got into cannabis beverages, I sold millions of dollars of wholesale product in both the medical cannabis industry (Bloom Farms) and the biggest food & beverage company in North America (PepsiCo). So why did I go all in on this niche category 5 years ago? ( No, it's not because I don't smoke weed or I don't enjoy alcohol ) It’s a personal mission that led me into cannabis 8 years ago: to destigmatize cannabis and improve worldwide access. It is for that reason I gravitated towards beverage, as it’s the most universally accepted way to consume these miracle compounds the plant yields. Throughout my career, I worked for publicly traded corporations with 12 figure market caps to two person startups with no money and a pitch deck. My role and focus changes in almost every company I work with. I’ve had to be a product expert to marketers, a marketing expert to lawyers, and a sales expert for product makers. I have a diverse perspective that leads me to believe that cannabev will be the largest category in #cannabis, and that in relation to overall beverage sales it can exceed alcohol if stigmas and regulations allow us to serve the public. Not many agree with me, and that’s ok because they’ve walked in different shoes. In my short time working for the Grossman’s, I've learned that it's evident that institutional producers, wholesalers, and retailers are eagerly awaiting regulatory changes to align with evolving market demands. High caliber distributors in both Minnesota and now Texas are coming online for cannabev. I'm confident that this progress sets the stage for nationwide adoption as the industry continues to evolve. I personally won’t stop until it can be a vice of choice for bars, a cognitive creative boost in coffee shops, and the ultimate superfood ingredient at your smoothie spot. While I was never alone, the path on the left has a lot more feet marching together than it did 5 years ago. I’m grateful to the other believers grinding with me. Thank you for the Friday afternoon soapbox. It's an exciting time to change beverage history together. #drinkcannabis

Helping Connect Industry Innovators With Motivated Buyers At The UKs Largest Landscaping & Stone Expo #landscaping #landscaper #gardendesign #futurescape #landscapingevent #landscapingexpo
In the 12 months ending 16th July, CBD sales in the US showed a decline of 12.7% from $101m to $88m following a decline of 16.4% the year previous. Companies like cbdMD & Charlotte's Web have struggled with the e-commerce side of their businesses, but some such as CV Sciences, Inc. showed an upturn in online sales. Legislative steps are certainly needed in the both the US & UK, with the FDA & Food Standards Agency so far only taking baby steps to regulate what could be a huge & very profitable industry for all involved. #cbdshow #cbd #cannabis #cbdmovement #cbdcommunity #cannabiscommunity #cbdeducation #cannabiseducation

Entrepreneur, Strategist, and Brand Builder. Founder of High Buds Club, a community-led marketing platform for cannabis brands.
Curious what’s ahead for the cannabis industry in 2024? Here’s what I’m seeing in the High Buds Club community… Key Insights for Brands:👇 1. Pre-Rolls on the Rise → Pre-roll products have increased their market share by 23.5%, reaching near parity with flower sales. This points to a growing consumer preference for convenience and ready-to-use products. 2. Diversified Demand → There's also been a surge in products like edibles, vape pens, and concentrates. This diversification in consumer choice underlines the need for brands to expand and innovate their product lines. 3. Wellness Products Losing Ground → Interestingly, wellness products like capsules, topicals, oils, and tinctures are seeing a decrease in market share. This shift suggests a change in consumer focus towards more recreational or experience-driven products. These trends are critical indicators for brands to adapt and evolve. It's not just about what you're selling — it's about aligning with the changing preferences of your consumers. 💬 How is your brand responding to these market shifts? Are you adapting your product lines to meet these evolving preferences? #cannabis #cannabisindustry

🌸Dive Into the Flourishing Ontario Cannabis Market In the dynamic landscape of Ontario’s Cannabis industry, success is measured by more than just sales. Total Distribution Points (TDPs) 📈 offer a vital glimpse into a brand’s market penetration and consumer reach. But what exactly are TDPs? 🔍Understanding Total Distribution Points Total Distribution Points (TDPs) stand as a crucial metric, combining product availability and market spread to indicate a brand’s health. It’s a straightforward yet powerful formula: the number of distinct items a brand offers on dispensary menus multiplied by the number of dispensaries carrying them.
