Last week, a part of our AI team took a trip to Prague. 🇨🇿 Beside sightseeing and exploring local cuisine 🍻, they also attended the EuroPython 2024 conference. Python programming language is one of the most essential and fundamental technologies used by Medius AI team and the AI field in general. The EuroPython conference is an annual event where individuals and companies meet to discuss and learn about the exciting field of python programming. 💻 The event hosted a series of workshops and talks about the general overview of cutting edge frameworks and good practices used by the industry as well as intricate technical details about the python programming language. Our focus was of course on AI-themed topics, which were large in number. 🤖 The fields that our AI programmers found especially intriguing were: 💡The use of NLP technologies (LLMs, embedding models, RAG systems…) 💡Diffusion models Our team came back equipped with new knowledge and ideas, excited to apply this to challenges which they face on a daily basis as AI developers at Medius. 💼
