G/O Media Dumpster Fire Burns On. It is hard to believe in the future of independent web publishers with stories like these. Few companies seem to have an actual strategy--think RedVentures, ZiffDavis, etc. Most publishers lack the resources and strategy to develop a great outcome. Surely the pendulum will swing back for publisher valuations, but between BuzzFeed and G/O Media as examples, it is easy to see why investors are so down on the segment. https://buff.ly/3YXx2DS
